MVP's situation
This is one of MVP's last two matches in the regular season. Thanks to their mapscore and their positive mapscore against mousesports in particular, MVP only needs to win either this match or the match against ROOT to qualify for the playoffs. Even with two losses they are well in the running with as the other competitors for the playoff spots are playing against each other.
Liquid's situation
With two wins in their remaining four matches they should qualify for the playoffs. The unrealistic exception to this is Axiom not conceding more than one loss in their remaining matches and either Team Acer or mousesports winning every match of the season while improving their mapscore drastically.

Travel accomodations are provided by the league. I am not sure if this equals the guaranteed $1,500 you get for appearing at the finals which would be way too low for a Non-European team. All I know is that in the beginning of the season they said that travel accomodations would be fully covered by the league.

Huh I havent paid that much attention to player stats but that surprises me. He's struggling to start in the SC2L as well with an 0-2 record. Maybe he's just one of those guys that usually performs better in individual leagues than team leagues (like Polt in GSTL)

I dont get why Zenio got a default loss in a totally even game and MVP is allowed to recover games 6-7 times. Zenio had to leave and couldn't play the game. Zenio forfeited. His internet died, it just died a little bit longer for him than for MVP. Do you think our players just leave when they have to go somewhere else in the middle of a clan war? just going off what was written on Liquipedia i wasn't watching the match at the time.
I wrote that but that's what I have interpreted from what was happening, not 100% accurate.

He even had a small advantage I think, they had identical army supply/workers but Zenio had a lot more banked up for mutalisks.

Heartbreaking last game, considering how well TLO did and that Zenio was dropped. Looked like it got in TLO´s head, he did not play his best that last series, or he would have crushed Dream.
