I wonder how long both Pro players and casuals will have to endure Star Station. This map is soooooooooo bad, I can't think of a reason, why it remains in every tournament mappool.
GG FXO, was to be expected, especially with the lineup prime showed. Terror, Chance and Annyeong showed a lot of flaws in basics of the game, which indicates, why they were not fielded earlier.

Not sure how tiebreakers work this season. It's either going to be warnings and then head-to-head or the other way around. Not sure how many warnings the teams have, but FXO lost to both ST and Azubu so it doesn't look good unless ST or Azubu get creamed in their last game.

I'm pretty sure It's just map score and not head to head, map score modified by -1 for each warning.

What if mapscores are tied? They need another tiebreaker rule and it's usually head-to-head.

well yeah if It's a tie then probably head to head, but that's not the default.

Yes I meant after map scores

tie breaker after map scores is warnings

FXO is in deep trouble then, they have 2 warnings and both st and azubu have 1.

What's so bad about Star Station?

Annyeong and Chance only recently joined Prime. There were four new signings about a week ago:

FXO advance as long as Startale lose. Azubu need to lose 2-4 for FXO to advance if Startale win.

Star Station is really hard for Protoss since there's about a thousand angles for Dropships to get inserted into their bases. Also the wide open spaces limit the effectiveness of forcefield and let terran get good concaves.

They did this on purpose. Gerrard doesn't trust these guys it seems, and only sends them out when Prime has already been eliminated.

It's pretty unfair that he doesn't trust them. They need more practice and the only way they're going to get it is by putting them in the booth. Prime hasn't been shining for a long time so it seems counter productive to keep new players from trying. That's just my 2 cents though...

Thanks. That makes sense. There did seem like a lot of space around the back of Creator's bases for dropships to wait around and to find a nice angle to go in.

Exactly. A no consequences game like this is perfect for testing out new blood and giving them booth experience. If they manage to take a game or two then that's really good for their confidence and if they don't then nothing lost.

Only Barbie, MKP and Eins were missing afaik. Byun, Creator, Maru, terror, Chance and Annyeong were there with Gerrard

Okay nvm... I don't know why I thought there were more people missing. It still seems odd that MKP wasn't there...

Definitely. If they do what Terror did and take a game it's a great bonus. If they don't win, there's nothing to be lost because they're getting some experience in the both. It's just a pity that Gerrard doesn't like deviating from the Byun, MKP, Maru, Creator lineup

I asked Gerrard last week why he only fielded his fantastic 4 for the entire season, i see lots of people wondering so here is his answer :

Q: this GSTL season we only saw the same 4 players (ByuN, Maru, MarineKing and Creator), why was there only these 4 players playing this season ?
First of all, the 4 players are our best cards.
And as GSTL didn't really go as we hoped it would since we went on a loosing streak after all-killing azubu.
It was risky players that were not one of our 4 best players play.
If we were winning the league, we could've let the new members play and all, but we were desperate to win, so it seemed the best to let our 4 best players play.

I was happy to see TerrOr get a win today i hope he can overcome his nerve issues quickly, i saw him practicing and he was so damn good !

On the other hand, Prime is dead last of GSTL this season T___T so sad =/

Prime without terran players (MKP,Maru,Byun) Is this real life

I heard TerrOr is quite good player on ladder, hope he can show some great games in future.

He didn't look so hot during his games (his win was a roach all in that went unscouted) but apparently he gets really nervous in the booth. Really young guy too, so he should get better with more experience.
