I would argue that the tournament format - bo1 - is more to blame and kespa players seem to be used to it much more. They simply prepare a very specific strategy for the few maps they have to play on while the esf players are more used to preparing for several maps (and thus less thoroughly for each specific map). Personally I prefer players who can adapt to a situation over those who win by practicing a build over and over and over again until they can play it like an automaton. | ||
