But if I did that you wouldn't be able to see what tournament it is on the sidebar, it also goes against everything we've ever done which is put the name of the tournament first. You can easily hover over the thread on the sidebar and see which group it is. The short sidebar title is to catch attention.

so the title intended would have worked best, imo. ah well

whoever makes the next thread can change it to whatever, I just made the thread quickly without thinking about it too much.

bo1 such a joke, i give flash and soulkey 30% chance to advance, yugioh and ragnarok 20%. With preparation and cheese anything can happen especially as flash and soulkey have plenty of recent games to study.

I'm going to go with "[OSL] Ro32 Groups A&B 2013 WCS Korea Season 2" because that's what I explained the format should normally be in my tutorial :p [Tournament name] Stage of Competition / Year / Subtitle / Season#. That's usually what we go with which I explained in the tutorial
WHICH IS BELOW, WHICH YOU SHOULD READ, IF YOU WANNA HELP MAKE LR OPs, OTHER GUYS

I really hope that Flash, Innovation and Soulkey can advance to Ro 16

I like to give people here the benefit of the doubt, but we've only had one OSL in sc2 and it was not a widely viewed tournament. I think WCS KR should be at the front of the title to make it clear to everyone what this tournament is. To forum veterans It's obvious what the OSL is but certainly not to everyone, you have to remember we have a lot of new people here since HotS.
The groups could probably go before the year/season#, yeah.

That is a good point, yeah. People might think it has nothing to do with WCS KR if they don't read the whole title, and we know how bad the internet is at reading things completely. However with only one OSL a year at this point, if we don't spread the OSL brand people might never get used to it. Either way is fine with me though as long as they both show up.

While I think that the "STARLEAGUE" is quite catchy and is a good way to introduce people to the OSL, I think it would have been good to have something like "[WCS-KR/OSL]".

Personally I prefer the " Starleague " brand over OSL, I think it sounds cooler. Currently both are at the front of the title so I think it works out okay. The Starleague part could probably do without the caps but we might as well be flashy for opening day.
So the alternative could be [OSL] WCS KR or [WCS KR OSL] I guess? I'm not sure what would be best. I definitely like the Starleague brand myself though, and the banner happens to also have the starleague title on it and not OSL/ongamenet.
edit: fuck it let's do a poll
Poll: OSL or Starleague in the thread title?OSL (8) 67% Starleague (4) 33% 12 total votes Your vote: OSL or Starleague in the thread title? (Vote): OSL (Vote): Starleague

I too prefer STARLEAGUE. This site has been plagued with at least 9,000 tournament acronyms. Starleague and Proleague deserve better.

Right? At least It's different. Dreamhack gets a [Dreamhack] tag instead of [DH]
