Yep. Yeah that is so surprising, I understand your need to state it. It is if you realize the Korean pool for this tournament is really weak outside of the few heavy-hitters. yep because fireflyhugs and ieatpuppies are the most terrifying foreigners to ever enter a tournament So arthur, daisy, stardust, etc are expected to make it to the Ro16 of any tournament? -_- What top foreigner isn't at this tournament. Just stop. No one really cares I'm so tempted to do that thing where I ask you then why you bring it up if you don't care? And you go I'm just saying. And I go then stop talking about it. And so on and so forth. LOLs. Just watched some Ted. heh. But in all seriousness, if you don't care, then let him say w/e. It's better to just say it's annoying if you want someone to stop, b/c not caring and telling someone to change/do something else makes no sense. EDIT: For the record, I actually don't care about him saying w/e. But I think there's a logical error in your statement. I care about obnoxious statements of the obvious. Everybody is aware that Koreans are good at this game. What's the point of saying it over and over as if nobody should be happy about other people's accomplishments unless they beat all the Koreans
Thanks for stating the truth instead of saying some BS about no one cares (like undead is also doing).
I legitimately don't understand why you find it obnoxious. But then again, I guess you wouldn't understand why I find obvious logical fallacies in word play like the one you made obnoxious. So oh wells.

No, they aren't. They're good but not unbeatable. I don't know what you're even on about.
In case you didn't notice, Arthur and Daisy didn't actually make it to the Ro16.
Jaedong, Life, Gumiho, viOlet, Hyun, Squirtle, Taeja and Stardust made it.
Everyone but Stardust SHOULD be expected to make it to the Ro16 of any tournament. And Stardust beat out Bischu, Zanster, Runa, Sonder and Snute to make it that far while losing to Lucifron.
Big fucking deal.
|
Stephano said his ZvZ is "a shit". Jaedong will advance and fill face LucifroN. Dayshi is good player, but not at the level of LucifroN.
Downside this bracket Squirtle will beat TLO and Taeja will do the same with ToD. The match between them is dificult to say. Taeja did nothing in the WCS NA and Squirtle is Code S, but in the last momento and through Code A. Still can see Taeja beating him and facing Jaedong in the quarterfinal. Both Taeja and Jaedong didnt achieve anything in the WCS NA, but Zerg is still better than Terran and I see Jaedong advancing over Taeja.
Life will crush Tefel. He has lost only 2 maps and in ZvZs till this stage, but Tefel is not at his level. Harstem is a surprise in this tournament as it was "Verdi" in the last DH. Sjow feels much better and confident now, but dont think is good enough to beat the Protoss. Anyways Life will advance easy over Harstem. Easy bracket for the GSL champion facing only foreigners till the semifinals. viOLet seems in grate shape and Stardust is good, but not so known player and dont think will be able to beat the Zerg. It seems for Protoss is really hard to deal with Zerghosts lately..Hyun and Gumiho is very equal pair, but Gumiho has underperformed for me in this tournament. After the first Group Stage he was never able to advance as first of the group. That why I think Hyun will face viOLet in the quarters and will lose, so Life will advance over viOLet to face Jaedong and will win the Tournament.

Is it just me or has Life gotten just about the easiest possible bracket through this entire tournament? And that will continue until at least the semifinals

I'm not saying it was intentional.
But like
he's played ToD and theSTC. so one code B level korean on a foreign team and one real foreign pro with skills. other than that it's been no names, an Aussie, and whatever you want to call Morrow in 2013. then he gets tefel and the winner between harstem and sjow.
I mean--that couldn't possibly be any easier, right?

Yep. Yeah that is so surprising, I understand your need to state it. Today I saw an interview with Liquid.Ret. He said, he dont feel people can call him "lazy" because he is practicing much more tan the last year. He now is practicing 5-6 hours every day... LOL!!! After hearing viOLet saying he got no idle day and always practicing 10-12 hours..and one korean coach told in another interview that sOs was "casual player" for not practicing this time, you can understand why foreigners are still so FAAAR BEHIND almost any koreans. We will never catch them if this continues like that. I'm guessing you didnt actually read the sOs interview. When coach ryu said he was a "casual" he meant that sOs plays like its a job and doesn't have passion for the game, that doesn't take away from the fact that he practices a lot. And we have to understand here that Ret has always had issues with getting in long practice times so give him some slack, he's improving. It's not really fair to use Ret's practice style as a model for all foreigners so your statement isn't really accurate.
The coach said that after reaching the top 8, sOs began practicing 2 hours more. BEfore he was just doing the hours he needed and was playing without passion and no ambition.Like a job as you said. Dont know what issues had Ret. If its something about his health, my fault and sorry. Anyways, Stephano saying almost always he is not practicing much is another example, how can you achieve a lot without too much work...Snute already said, he went to Korea and began practicing more, because everyone else arround was doing it. What does that mean? In the non korean house its different??? I dont think foreigners are just bad or without talent and koreans are supermens. ITs all about work and discipline. Its in our culture. They take it serious. If the gamehouses dont do this, we will never catch them. We need korean coaches.

You did pretty well man. You and Apollo work perfectly together. I like, you are talking almost as much as he did and you were always saying correctly everything. I was surprised to see you here, but after casting the Challenger in WCS EU, I hope to see you more, because you demostrate, you are a great profesional caster.

I guess he deserves it after two straight GSL group of death eliminations. anything that gives him enough WCS points to try to eke his way into blizzcon is probably a good thing in the long run.

Sick run by Pig, 1 game off taking down life and advancing via tiebreak. Though Taeja in the ro16 would've likely ended things.
