It wasn't a production choice. Both players were on Do Not Disturb mode and didn't realize that they were supposed to have obs.

Like every bracket. No not like in every bracket. you see how many ties we have after the first games? now translate that to GSL brackets and you will see what i mean.
no.

I bet that the players who also do some real sports have some kind of advantage here.
Agreed, it's kind of like the Iron Man of SC2 tournaments, adds a bit more excitement/prestige to it.

what a heartbreaking drop out for elfli after playing his heart out against taeja

Not so bad as usual when it's like 10.00 only 13h+ hour if you count warming up.
Not really, group one was done around 18.00 and group 2 only had to start then. It's not like MLG with games all day.

Taeja!! Now win whole tournament please.

It's not a Starcraft tournament, it's a computer festival. The needs of the original LAN fest come first. The standard participants have school or work on Friday, but the top 16 pros can afford to play on Monday.
Wait nvm i understand now its late sorry...

LOL Elfi beat both Taeja and Thorzain and still didn't advance. Cool story to tell to his grandchildren :D I'm glad tho... Taeja still fighting.

Why Harstem is 1st in group?? if there is 2 way tie head to head should be the first thing you look at
|
It's going to be all foreigner vs korean, except for two people who gets lucifron/harstem

I feel pretty bad for Elfi.

Either Millenium is drugging the players or they know training methods from the future. Or maybe .. I don't eben know. Just HUUUGGEEEE props to the team as I feel while great players are being cheered, the fact that one team keeps bringing up insane talents says something. P.S. I just realized the Trick! Millenium has Voodoo shamans working for them. Those Voodoo shamans CURSE EG players, take their skills and tournament success and transfer it to Millenium's newcomers. ONLY possible explanation! I was so disapointed when Stephano left Millenium

So that's why taeja was mule dropping elfi, he was just sending him a message. The guy can see the future.
