But damn, why not make an efficient army composition instead of throwing armies? Like, brood lord / infestor, it is not unbeatable anymore, but it is efficient!

Maybe they made an exception because this group was rescheduled. Isn't it just an 8 man invitational? It probably falls under some form of loophole that allows this to happen. Also if RedBull wants to dump money into Esports I think Blizzard should be more than on board and not even try and stop them

I just found it a bit weird that they're not enforcing the rules they set which forced NASL 5 to never happen.

Or is that the licensing thing? Red Bull is $5000 so it could be that. The rescheduling thing you stated would probably make sense, too.

I think if they wanted to do something like that Blizz would have been more than happy to say they could. Its just the issue is that they would directly compete with viewers between WCS:AM and NASL where as the idea is that an 8 man invitational wouldn't compete with a full on league. The only issue is that with more popular casters and players in the invitational than in this group, and that logic being flawed in the first place, more people are tuning in to RedBull's LAN

But maybe they also didn't wanted to hurt WCS and their tournament, especially with the final being at the MLG studio.
