Please don't derail the thread with Karont3 talk or "I won't watch" comments. You can post the former to here and I humbly ask you to keep the latter to yourself.

MVP only lose when they send out Sangho too much. Keep him benched and they'll win easily again.
|
ForGG is in Korea so his matches will be lagless. Can be un advantage for both him and MVP players though. I really hope Millenium wins but MVP is a very strong team. Anyway a loss wouldn't be that bad considered Millenium's ranking.

Can Lucifron and Vortix play for Mouz?
And Axiom really needs to pick up another player soon.

Once Lucifron and Vortix start playing for Mouz, Mouz will have one of the deepest rosters in the ATC, with the brothers, and Mana, Hasuobs, Heromarine and Illusion.

I don't know, if they really wanted to pick up Coca, they would have signed him already by now. Dreamhack Stockholm was a long time ago, and we really haven't heard much from Coca since then. I'd love to see Axiom Coca, but it seems unlikely to me

Ryo said in his statement that players would have to wait two playdays after transferring from one ATC team to another. But he also said that LucifroN and VortiX were allowed to play last week already. So either it's a wrong info or they don't consider Karont3 an ATC team anymore, making all players of their former roster instantly eligible for other teams.
French viewers reported that Acer.Kaoru said they would have to wait a month to play. This probably corresponds to the two playdays rule, as the one month rule is very abusable. Mouz could just abuse scheduling and schedule everything a month late.
A TakeTV admin said that LucifroN and VortiX are able to play because of the start of the new season half.
Nazgul said that new players can only be added by admin exception. So there is probably no written rule about that and admins just communicate in which cases they would let new players in.
So you see, it's a mess. I really hope there is some official clarification about it soon. Despite my obvious friendliness towards the ATC, it's still a $20,000 league and it needs more clearly written out rules.

Hope for Dayshi upsetting MVP.

Well, MVP's playoff tickets are already pretty safe. Best oppurtunity to send him out. But it's super strange that he performs so well in Korean qualifiers for something with the sickets participants, but doesn't look so good against foreigners.

Dayshi vs Billowy - Fight!
|
|
|
GG DAYSHI wins after betting his balls to win the last game. Billowy GG'ed a bit early though.
|
Order of maps is probably wrong. It's the same as in Week 10. They correctly changed the Week to 11 since yesterday, but didn't change the map order.

Haha, when it´s Tails, it´s always an all-in.
Even if it´s good ol´ 5 base 25min skytoss push.
|
Damn, when I return, I want to see a Dayshi all-kill, please. Gogogo!
|
Looks like the timewarps backfired. :D
|
And with that fail from Tails, Dayshi wins the game. 2 down, 3 to go !
Edit : Tails almost managed to salvage his situation.

It's probably for the best that DRG stays home from DH.

2 bases marine marauder medivac hellbat without a 3rd CC or ebays
DRG made the mistake of pushing out with 10~15 roachs.. which didn't end well since Dayshi got stim right at that moment and then counter attacked and won.
|
I'm very happy for Dayshi's recent result, showing how good he became. On the other hand I'm sad to see so many protoss losing to terrans recently. I hope what was said by David Kim about hellbats will be considered in TvP as well.

mvp's MMM+hellbats 2 base build. DRG suicided his roaches into dayshi's army, probably expecting him to play 3CC.

How as Dayshi doing this?!
|
I thought a team could revive a player only 2 times during the season. But duckdeok already got revived twice. Does the "season" word mean a round ?

This is actually MVP's third use of the two seasonal revives, but I guess the use in the Karont3 clanwar doesn't count anymore.

I'm very well aware of this fact, however he's not consistently posting good results, which is the saddest part. To see him in such good shape at the beginning of HotS only to lose in the group stages of Dreamhack to HuK and Sjow was very disheartening.
Hopefully he's still on an upswing and will do better at DH Summer. ^^

Really improved since he met Squirtle 2 weeks ago. I can feel the practice in his TvP thanks to Squirtle. By the way, he stated during a post interview on M's stream that it was to early to expect him to do really well in a DH with such a line up. He prefers not to be expected as a favorite or at least a beaty challenger.

I think SinCitta assumes the revive against Karont3 is considered as non existent, so that the one against Millenium is the second.

To be honest it never really had any credibility to begin with for me anyway. We've seen several teams/sponsors hold their own team leagues already. It's great that they're doing 19 weeks of this for the regular season but I don't think anyone would give much thought to it at the end of the day compared to a lot of other things.

If I remember correctly, SlayerS and Quantic disband during last EGMC, but it was easy to handle as it was between group stage and playoffs. Team Vile forfeit in another EGMC also, and every other team got a walkover, but these are different case.

There was a teamleague managed by someone that was also a team manager at that time. People wanted to have Empire invited to a qualifier for that league. Empire was considered to be the Top 2 team in Europe. The manager said something like "who the fuck is Empire". Long story short, Empire won the next season of the league including a win against the team of said manager.

not against terran sky, they pick apart BCs and Banshees so no damage to ground. You don't even have air control because of the thors range. But of course you need to put your thors into cannon mode before they are down to 3 .... that being said ... rofl what a fail by lucifron, but the no spread was quiet typical for him.

I've seen a few matches here and there, but I haven't gone out of my way to watch a lot of it. There was a teamleague managed by someone that was also a team manager at that time. People wanted to have Empire invited to a qualifier for that league. Empire was considered to be the Top 2 team in Europe. The manager said something like "who the fuck is Empire". Long story short, Empire won the next season of the league including a win against the team of said manager.
o0;;
That's really interesting, was this a notable event? Because I can't remember anything of that sort happening.
Also, my point in asking was that if someone managed to do it without a hitch (EG was the first example that came to mind) then it was certainly doable and the fact that the tournament organizers may coincide or intersect with the staff of a participating team does not make said tournament lose all credibility in and of itself.

Sick game; I thought Lucifron had it for a moment.

Thors with cannons make TvT ground only again thanks to endless scans. Atleast one matchups where siege tanks work through the whole game.

i loved how lucifron took ryungs gas and landed an orbital next to it near the end of the game, cute little move

It was one of the two bigger teamleagues that existed back then. But nobody really cared much about online stuff. I am not 100% sure whether the league where Empire was not invited to and the league which Empire owned after that was the same, though.

ryung hasn't been bad against protoss since like mid 2012 tho
he's decidedly "okay" now (and that's at a Korean level)

Well I guess you're right, given that
"In these games, Ryung is 61–51 (54%) in games and 24–24 (50%) in matches." (from June 1st 2012 to now)
Although I would argue that these are inflated by beating relatively low tier foreign Protosses. He's also lost to foreign Protosses (including MaNa himself) to boot.
All things considered it's still weaker than his vZ or vT.

Why Lucifron can play for Mouz while Karont3 was banned from the tourney because they asked if they can get 2 players?

The problem is not the player quality but he's 2-8 in this TeamStory Cup and TvT is Ryung's best matchup. I was expecting VortiX or HasuObs.

It was around HotS release.

When did Dayshi get good? He finished 2nd in WCS France one year ago. He was already good at this time. He kept improving month after month, thus was recruited by Millenium in October. Living and training with ForGG must help for sure. :p

Pretty sad a team can field 2 players that previously played for another team in the same tournament 2 weeks prior. Who made these rules?

Actually I believe it was slightly earlier (end of 2012, beginning of 2013), when his training with ForGG started to really be fruitful (especially in term of work ethic). But it's true that it became patent with HotS and the end of Zerg OPness.

Well he showed quite a bit of potential beforehand but it wasn't until the advent of HotS that he started getting more consistent and better results, and not ones limited to the French scene either.

That site is wrong, since it's a match from Week 11, not Week 10. And the mappool on that site is from Week 10, too. I think they are playing the map order from Week 11 now, but they started on Neo Planet S (1st map of Week 10).

Ryung is a TvT master at a top Korean level...
PS This game was really weird... why did LucifroN not go for the mineral line with all those hellions after destroying most of that army? :|

With Ryung holding that there's not much Luci can do to come back from being far behind on tech. Upgrades in Ryung's favor as well.

Mass hellions are in the early stages of the game a really strong opening in tvt, since so many people rely on hellbats in the early game.
Still a bit disappointed about lucifron for such an early gg. He could have tried it.

When I was making the OP, I noticed that on the official site, that the matchsite titled both games as Week 10 games and the map order was the one from Week 10, although both mouz and MVP played on Week 10 already. The schedule on the official site correctly said that they are Week 11 matches.
They changed the matchsite for MVP vs Millenium correctly to Week 10, but they forgot to change the map order to the Week 11 one. So the map order between Axiom and mouz (after game 1) should be the correct Week 11 one.
