Do you loves Star Strikers like I do? If you said yes, it's time to prove it with your favorite pros and personalities around the community. SuperStar Strikers is an 8 team 4 v 4 Star Strikers tournament that mixes your favorite pro/personalities with you the community. I made a quick video with some more details:
Format - 8 Teams - 2 groups of 4 (tiebreaker is H2H record, total goals scores, 2nd tiebreaker goals against) Best of 1 each match - Top 2 of each group move on to a Bo1 semi finals. Winner of that moves on to the finals with Best of 3 to determine the champion.
Prize - The winning team and roster will be added to the loading page of Strikers! as the reigning champion so everyone that plays the game will be reminded everyday.
Team Makeup - 2 Pro/Personalities + 2 members of the community - The pro/personalities will select the 2 members of the community from the "Star Strikers" BattleNet Group on the day of the event. Be sure to join this group too since it's the official Star Strikers group on BattleNet.

I'm very happy to see djWHEAT and WackSteven involved in this, though I always fear for WHEAT's health when he plays Star Strikers. It always appears he is moments away from an Aneurysm or Heart Attack. If he gets Kaoken on his team, it's GG for everyone else.

Thor will be up there in Vetoes. Especially among the hardcore Strikers players.
its the fastest unit, with the super throw, with a lot of hp. its the one a lot of people consider OP.
ALSO just going to say, I have a pretty good understanding of the best TSS Players....
whoever gets Kaioken will win.
He is prob one the best TSS player who still plays, hands down.
IDK if any pro's want any info on who top players are ill happily give suggestions.
i dont play TSS much anymore, but when I did Kaio was better than me already, and he plays it a LOT more than I do now. Would be super down to play on one of the celeb teams tho as their Ace... i play #1 Marauder NA imo. =p
In the strikers community, there are people who like to specialize in one unit and get really good with it and there are people who like to practice a lot of units, allowing them to pick their unit to create better composition mismatches. The specialists are obviously better at their units than anyone else, but the other team can pick units to counter them and so it creates a sort of balance if you will. If veto is allowed, people who specialize a unit will have their unit vetoed and the games will be pretty lopsided. If you want to get the entire community involved, people who specialize in one unit need to not be barred from that unit.

Kaioken is great, but I think the team that has the best pros will win this. Especially if the pros start playing in-house with us every night, they're game is going to be 100x better by this weekend and they'll clean up.
On that note, if you want to play some in-houses, come to the strikers channel. If you message me and tell me you're one of the pros and want to get some practice, I'll make sure to get you in games (I usually host).

I vote that Day9 and Spunkx should be together. They seemed to be inlove with each other during Kings of Tin, Too bad that spunkx is way more sexier than him.

Was going to make a list ranking players by their skill... but people will get their feelings hurt and flame the shit out of me... so ill give the op units we will see/need in every game to be competitive:
Drone. (this unit is a whore imo). This unit makes any goal at range not-possible, be prepared to NEED 2 scoring shots, in succession in order to get a point in. (Or Dunk it, with Sentry, Ultralisk both being good at this. Also Sentry Zap can make the drone worthless)
SCV: Wall. One of the best defense units in the game, simply because it can put up the free "lol no goal for u" also good for separating groups from the ball, can be used offensively, but with caution. This is a higher skill unit imo.
Thor: Its a great unit due to its utility. Its the fastest when its buffed. It has the mega throw. Also really big making it a decent blocker. Good all around unit.
Kings of Tin, bringing that solid lineup. Kaioken, DjWheat, Wacksteven, Spunkx is decent too.

Maestro I used to play a Lot with Kaio, Rusty, Chirus. Have only recently begun playing again, but ask any1 who has played with me if i know what im talking about.
Back before I quit playing, we used to split Teams as Kaioken on one team, and myself on the other.
Now only a few of the newer players know who I am, but I have played with everyone on that list, with Ooter being the best from what I saw out of all of them.
ask Broceratops, Steve, Moolium, theMaster etc if im good. The only people Ive ever seen play who outplayed me were Titanium and Kaioken.
Most people just throw up the TSS clan tag and think that makes them better at the game, but I have played with almost everyone in TSS and NONE of them are anywhere near Kaioken in skill, and I have only seen a few of them who are same skill as me.
Since reset I am at like 50 games with 70% winrate, was at 80% winrate with 40 wins, but i played 4 games in a row where it was 2v5 or in one case 2v6 because our 3rd,4th were both new players, and our 5th spent all game stealing and passing to the other team, as well as blocking our goal shots, and we still only lost 7-9.

JP invited me to play last week like thursday.... On Friday i was like "hey maybe we should pick up ooter he is decent" and jp was like "fine"
Fast forward to Sunday... ooter Went to chanman and had me kicked off so he could bring in Ruff, and said "O sean said its Me and Ruff now"
Soo... I got Ooter invited to the team... and he got me kicked off... Thats what i get for lying and saying he was better than he actually is. And GG Chanman... for letting the guy i recruited to a team..then kick me off of it... really appreciate it.

On the plus side... am pretty sure I am going to host a weekly or bi-weekly tournament in the future, because this is by far the only Map in SC2 customs worth playing and people seem to love the tourney so far....

Ya... i wrote this earlier... I was the 3rd for Day9 and JP... we needed a 4th so i was like "how about ooter"
Then ooter, after he found out was on the team, went to Chanman and Day9 and had me kicked off the team so he could invite Ruff... after i got him invited.
So then Day9 was like "o Jp i got two people" so JP messaged me "o sry Day9 had people he was bringing and i just found out"
