ehhm the star station game was pretty much straight up macro.

one game in a best of 5? :S

Does it matter how he won?

yes because now TLO is going off to korea where solid play matters and not cheese.

that's a really incorrect assessment, smart cheese builds and good mind games are often more valuable than being a better macro player D:

(though the better overall player usually wins the final championship)

If only inca could have won
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I completely agree, thanks to that timer I don't mind the downtime at all. :O I'm falling a bit in love with ESL.

Aye, knowing that you can jump to do some other stuff(or just tab to something else) rather than wait at the computer and rage.

Trying to figure out if the non-KR players stand any chance, more preparation time would definitely favor the Korean players.

Please every time you predict Stephano to lose he wins. So you might have just jinxed Korea! Thx you

I rate Stephano's chances very highly. His ZvZ prowess is unparallelled in 6 continents.

Penguins are very good at ZvZ though, they can beat Stephano any day.

Actually, I'm pretty sure my cat can beat Stephano in ZvZ.

Is your cat named KANGHO?

I've actually taken to calling all my friend's cats LosirA or Kang Ho. They have no fucking clue why.

Koreans cheese all the time. They cheese whenever they feel it will win them the game...

when was the last time you watched a korean pro cheesed three games straight?

Did you not watch Symbol cheese 5 games in a row vs Innovation?

Six pool, Roach nydus and a muta transition that cuaght Lucifron off guard.

Wasn't so much a muta transition that caught luci offguard, but just a terrible game by luci. I mean he was going almost pure rauder/hellbat, wtf is up with that... Just feel you devalued how poor that game was from Luci, he's so much better than that

Yeah fair point. Lucifron played the whole series pretty badly. TLO's play could have been much better. If he had excuted those cheeses like a Korean Lucifron wouldn't have stood a chance. Happy for TLO though.

Aye think he must've been trying to play like MVP, but the difference was obviously that the drops obviously went better for MVP and the fact that he was much more in TLOs face, pretty much preventing mutas from coming out.

Wait, double gas cancel is gimmicky now? That's taking advantage of misinformation. Show him 2 gas, cancel when scv leaves. It's your responsibility as a Terran player to scan again later and confirm he still went 2 gas. If anything, that's Lucifron being greedy/lazy for saving a scan for more economy.

TLO won, how he won is irrelevant.

I dont know why people are saying that TLO "cheesed to win", because only one of the games was a cheese game (and he only won because of playing errors made by his opponent). The other two games were pretty much regular games ... Nydus Worms are a regular option for him after all and taking a shortcut to the opponents base by using a Nydus is a smart choice.

What's up with the number of people who seem to have missed the last 6 months or so when TLO has become clearly one of the best players in Europe? Are people ignorant or just super butthurt about Lucifron losing for some reason?

TLO is legit, deal with it.

I agree with this sentiment. I've never really followed TLO much since the beta when he was picked up by TL, but as of now you have to admit he's been showing good results.

If TLO can show such games off-form, then he deserves that win. Getting that far into WCS alone should be enough for him to "deserve" the win. Lucifron might be good for one reason or another, whether it be nerves or not being able to adapt to random bullshit, he lost. TLO won.

It's that simple, I'm glad TLO won because he's showing that he has what it takes.

I was hoping Lucifron would win, but let me be clear about this. It doesn't matter in what way you win, even if you use somekind of cheesy strat or an all-in. At the end of the day only winning counts.

TLO just played some good games en caught lucif of guard with some of his strats. Stop complaining about it. Lucifron wil have a next change and we all see that he's one of EU's finest at this moment.

Congrats TLO and keep your head up Lucifron!
