Maybe so but he didn't need to attack into ultra/baneling on creep, he could have droped/sat behind a wall or up a ramp while making better units.

I remember a few months ago people were saying that the gap between the foreigners and the Koreans was getting bigger and bigger. But I feel like many foreigners have been showing really really amazing results lately and beating a lot of Koreans. The gap between foreigners and Koreans has definitely narrowed. However, the skill gap has only narrowed for ESF Koreans and foreigners. Foreigners and ESF Koreans can't even hold a candle to KeSPA players right now...

While true, a small victory is still a victory.
yeah better than times when B teamer like monster could fly to DH and get top4 easily. Snute/Luci vs top koreans would definitely interest me (and forGG vs top terrans :D) because they might be not too far from there.

But I feel like many foreigners have been showing really really amazing results lately and beating a lot of Koreans. Foreigners are getting better against the lower-mid tier Koreans and being able to take them out on a more regular basis then ever before, but I think the skill gap between the top foreigners and top Code S Koreans is still just as big if not bigger. Kind of weird the lower tier players and getting closer but the higher tier players getting farther apart the way I see it.
Of course this is just pure speculation and my opinion soo I could be horribly wrong xD

Kespa pros don't travel abroad much. A lot of the top Koreans in GSL (WCS KR) don't really have much reason to travel abroad now other than the occasional weekender. There's still a lot of talent in KR that hasn't been playing a lot of foreigners recently

Uhhh based on what? Pretty sure Life, Polt, Leenock, Parting (I consider him ESF since he just signed with Kespa) are still way up there...Innovation is the only really untouchable player atm.

he must have been so nervous because his play is usually a LOT cleaner than that and he made a lot of fail moves (dropping twice into 2 spores, micro against the 200pop burst, clearing creep without medivacs and scans...) but i was only commentating about his army comp :p

now would be the opportune time to show shots of the new york skyline and instead we're treated to bored players at their keyboards while tech staffs reposition cameras.

Who cares about Kespa vs esf. the real elephant in the room = MOBA players. Babyknight killing all the top EU players in WCS. Coca doing well at Dreamhack. sC just qualified for the up and downs beating kespa and esf alike and got an all kill in the GSTL.
