Still don't like this cushion system of the group stage why can't they just turn on man mode like GSL and just get rid of first round losers.

WCS Challenger always maxed out @ 20-25k
and of course the market is oversaturated with SC2 content at the moment - the WCS Content of 3-4 months compressed into 1 1/2 months ? + 4 team leagues + Shoutcraft America + Dreamhack Stockholm
and its not getting better/less until after the WCS S1 finals / Dreamhack Open asf.

WCS EU's numbers have indeed been very high, I just expected the premier league viewer numbers to carry over a bit more. Not 40 ~ 60k big, but half of that.

I expect that WCS EU f they keep it up, will reach 100k standard. Solid production, big names, europeans doing pretty well. There is nothing to hold WCS EU back to reach 100k during premier broadcasts.

why didn't finale get a mothership core with a 4 gate... you need vision to kill sentries

Apologies if I came across as aggressive, I just get a little peed off with people always measuring success by stream views, and when the numbers drop there always seems to be calls of “the end is nigh for Esports”. Not that you did that but I just associated your post with those other neigh sayers. This article actually sums up my opinion on it nicely.
Personally I think near 20,000 views EU is currently getting is great. I assume most people are causal viewers like me and care very little about Challenger league (I’m not even watching it properly, just have it running in the background and kind of drifting in and out). GSL’s numbers are no different then usual, views from the RO8 and up are very dependent on the popularity of the players who are competing, today we had two KesPa players, who despite their extremely high skill still aren’t as popular as more established Esf players. I can’t account for the low NA numbers, guess there is a lot of content and people are prioritising KR and EU over NA.
