I would assume that space is at more of a premium in NYC, and MLG is probably renting commercial office space- thus, they are not zoned for a bar and are probably set up in the corner of a high rise in a commercial area. It's probably impossible to have the sort of setting that WCS EU has (keep in mind that EU alcohol laws are much more relaxed than American alcohol laws... yaaaaaay christians). Additionally, I'm on the East Coast and New York is on the East Coast. However, I'm more than 9 hours away from NYC, or a $300 plane fare. Transport takes less time and is far cheaper in Europe. I'm pretty certain that if MLG was able to offer a bar setting for its fans it absolutely would, but a liquor license in NYC can cost upwards of $1m per year... | ||
