DRG went for kinda all-in roach attacks (looked like he isnt comfortable in ZvT in HotS) which Supernova held too easy and just rolled him over with bio / hellbat drops.
Both games were kinda one-sided unfortunally.

DRG and Fantasy down... the casualties of this war have been great.

4/8
Betting on Avenge was not a bad call

Betting against DRG was rather easy, he is so unimpressive these days. Good to see MKP stomp a random Protoss. Guess he will lose next round to life though

I don't think it's legal to call JangBi a "random Protoss" :/

MKP vs Life will become the new MKP vs MVP

Can't believe they couldn't find another match over Leenock vs Swagger -_-;. I mean Squirtle vs Ruin is for code S and a teamkill. Perhaps it's because Leenock is a veteran and is 1/3 of the people playing today for their Nestea award.
Way to strike out in 2 out of 8 ;D

Man tackar!
Surprised not to see him go for his usual muta-ling style, he was so good with it in WoL so one would think HotS would be great for him. He'll qualify in up/downs for sure, and then people will go "omg DRG is out of slump!!!" again.

lol its actually almost a tragic story for MKP. Gets 2nd place a million times denied his dream of GSL title. Next best thing and huge accomplishment? Nestea Award which only 2 players have gotten. and MKP gets denied by Life at the last possible second. (I guess he would still have up and downs)
Does anyone know if MKP is the longest running player in the GSL (always in code S/Code A) at this point?

Do the players that lost today go to Up & Downs?
|
Upon learning the next opponents for Fantasy/Jangbi would be Flash/Life respectively if they were to win their matches "meh not worth it"

Leenock was eliminated once but requalified the next season. (eliminated GSL May Code A 1-2 loss to CreatorPrime) I think Marineking is the only player left to never be in Code B. But yeah they have played in the same number of seasons.

I feel like MKP is going to beat Life. Not too particularly too impressed with Life's play recently. In fact, I think soulkey is the best zerg right now.

Yeah. Stupid elephants can't do anything right.
Gotta go with lower tiered BW Kespa players only next time. They're the real threat in sc2
