I thought hyvaa vs First was kind of 50/50 because First was prone to falling apart in the GSL. I only saw game 2 where he died to a speedling all in but that pretty much reassured me in my hyvaa liquibet. very surprised Fantasy lost. I guess time for Avenge to continue the upset spree against Flash ^^ | ||

In fact by him not scouting he even maximized his econ as well considering he was already blind countering =/ | ||

His gateway was badly placed and it meant the bunker could be built near the ramp and still kill it. Had his gateway been further back he wouldn't have lost it I think. | ||

I think scouting, and not building the zealot, not building the fast gateway and having just more probes earlier is a better counter. | ||

Hyvaa went for two massive all-ins and one worked, and then he played a good macro game using the image he had built with the two all-ins to get more ahead than he would otherwise had been (his control of scouting was great). First didn't do anything especially good or bad, but it felt like hyvaa's showing was more "how to win a Bo3" than "how to win a ZvP". That has merit too obv. | ||
