They've done a piss poor job with the brackets, there's like 7 or 8 games with score uncertain other than who advanced. -_-

Dem Chinese players, such scrubs. Clearly only on the level of random American players....

R1CH is also complaining that Gennia and TB aren't fighting for their players on twitter. The TL staff seems to love witch hints lately and making sure all dirty laundry is aired in public. TL staff is allowed an opinion too, even if they operate a big website, no? People are allowed to dislike their opinions and find them hypocritical even though they operate a big website, no? Sure, but the accusation in the post has nothing to do with having an opinion. R1CH was trying to badmouth how Gennia runs her team. Wax tried to witchhunt MLG when MLG admins said no to Bumblebee. As far as I can tell what he's got legitimate reasons for his compliants but whatever -shrug- not relevant to this thread. [/derail]
Wax's love of hunting for witches has nothing to do with the rest of TL that's just how he is
I don't get rich's tweet though.

I wouldn't want to advance due to a technicality and would rather earn it. Demuslim/Moose took the easy way out by trying to forfeit and forcing this situation to happen. Moose should have played miya and demu play the winner of that so people don't advance due to a technicality. I would feel a lot better earning it the right way if I was in their situation, rather than through a technicality. exactly my thoughts. i also support rich's tweet about the situation. Are you serious? Shafting two people that had nothing to do with it to fix a situation you CAUSED by having incompetent admins is acceptable? There is no right decision here, just less shitty ones. They should focus on hurting the least amount of people. There is a right decision, and they finally made it (thankfully). MLG and Miya screwed up and it caused Miya to get a match loss. End of story. There is no need to involve other players in the conversation at all. As soon as the first game following the screw-up was played there is no "fixing it." It's done. MLG needed to "own their own mistake" and just apologize/compensate/etc as best they can. There is no rolling back the bracket to fix an hours-old screwup (e.g. Hyun eliminating people after being DQ'd). It's scary to think that had Demu/Moose not threatened to forfeit that MLG would have made a really stupid call. NO! Miya did not do anything wrong! An admin stated the wrong time. If a fuck up like this happens the only logical thing to do is to roll back! It would not of unfairly hurt anyone, but forfeiting Miya (Who was screwed by an admin's fuckup) is hurting someone!
If they put Miya back in winners, it hurts Moosegills because he was awarded a walkover win more than fairly and is having it voided. It also hurts Demuslim because he just wasted a bunch of time waiting and will have to waste more time for the match that was already resolved to happen. If you keep Miya in the loser's bracket where he belongs, you only kinda hurt Miya because it's not his fault entirely he's there, but that's still where he belongs in the tournament.
Edit: You can't avoid hurting someone in a situation like this, so instead you aim to hurt as few people as possible. Putting Miya back in winner's definitely hurts more people than leaving him in losers.

Well, I have to say that more and more Chinese moved to Canada and Australia nowadays. Congrats to IAN!

MLG DQs him because there is no place for LAN in a Blizzard tournament.

To Zenio, Snute is replacing you, he's good enough for America Code S ro16, you're not good enough for America Code A.
To JYP, stop touching yourself right before you play.
