I believe they did, it was against Karont3 where HyuN was revived twice.
This is probably a Liquid victory, because Snute is always there to snipe HyuN and HerO is gaining some momentum recently. TaeJa continues to be a solid pick overall as well. Really all goes down to how well prepared Quantic is against the three I mentioned, and if HyuN will continue his fairly meh streak in ATC.

I think it will be a very interesting CW for sure. But i think Liquid wins it. GL anyways both teams!

He is inconsistent, but he still has the level in him (and has proved it). He raped Naniwa pretty badly at Dreamhack, much more than Leenock did, for example.
Liquid are the favorites, yeah, but Quantic still has good players in Center (also murdered Naniwa at DH), Apoc and Hyun. All are capable of taking out everyone on Liquid, maybe except for Taeja.

I think so. HerO had his EGTL clan tag and I think the tag Apocalypse had was his KR account clan tag. 99% KR vs KR is played on KR in this tournament

I only saw part of the game but it looked like he went for some inefficient ling baneling attacks that put him too far behind and he died

He also went swarmhosts, which failed miserably. Showed some poor control at times as well.

TaeJa vs Center could be a preview to one of the winners bracket finals of the WCS America Challenger qualifiers. They are in the same bracket

Center is doing a good job of clawing his way back despite being set-back early.
Still, he is behind on upgrades and supply blocked for a while.

Crappy engagement by Taeja, at such an anti timing as well. Now Center has at least caught up.

Expecting HyuN to come out against TaeJa, because he is the only one capable of defeating him in Quantic's roster.

center vs hero just looked unfair. never allowed him to get up a third base and always looked safe doing it. taeja as always though able to come in and just sweep up some nerds.

It looked unfair because HerO lost a lot of probes to the widow mine harass, and got behind in economy.

HyuN better put on his top-game against an excellent TvZ'er like TaeJa. Doesn't help he has been underperforming in ATC so far.
HyuN preparing for a big +1 Carapace + Roach/Bane bust apparently. All the upgrades are lined up for such an attack.
Badly botched by HyuN, wasting Banes on Marauders, no army splitting and didn't destroy enough of anything.

HwangSin is making the right transitions so far; moving out of the Blink Stalkers into Colossi and 1/1, and switching to HT after TaeJa is pumping out four Vikings at a time.
Impressive PvT play by HwangSin.

HwangSin is really excelling in ATC today. Taking out TaeJa and TLO is impressive.

yeah ... +2 armor really important to start in that situation. Was close though.

I think TLO was way to greedy with his droning. When Life went that style, he stopped at 45ish and just started massing lings and tech, using his third almost as a macro hatch. TLO had over 60 drones, and had no chance of delaying the push.
But haven't played the build yet, so don't know for sure.

HyuN is the ace for Quantic. Maybe a risky choice because of HyuN's streak of weakness in ATC, but maybe he is better prepared for the final game.
HyuN on the verge of defeating TaeJa.

TaeJa still doing well despite losing a ridiculous amount of SCVs. Only behind 30 supply when HyuN was consistently doubling TaeJa's supply.

If I'm playing vs a player like HyuN that I know does early roach attacks a lot, I get the single siege tank out before hellions. Think Taeja should've done the same. If he has it, he wins this game.
Easy to say in retrospect though! GG by HyuN, the 18 muta switch into 16 ultra switch is a nice one :D

Damn that was close. So many red ultras in the end being 90% of Hyuns army. If Taeja had've reacted quick enough to reinforce the (non)wall in his main he probably would've won.

I think TaeJa was trying to use widow mines as a siege tank replacement. He had a few widow mines out by the time Hyun attacked. They just weren't that helpful. Although one mine did manage to kill several banelings after the wall was first breached.
