pretty sure it will jump yeah but that was during the 5 tournaments every weekend era, there has been nothing going on other than Korean leagues since MLG.
The NA numbers will be interesting, I think 30-40K for EU + 30K (english stream) for KR and w/e we get for NA is pretty good when you look at how many hours a week we have those numbers watching.
I'm sure it get higher with ro16 groups on wards.

It probably will get higher when the players are actually there in person, and It's been running for a while so people know It's happening thanks to blizzard's failure to promote their own tournament.
I'm expecting 100k+ for Dreamhack this weekend because It's been hyped up for the past month and everyone loves LANs

i think the past two weeks lost a lot of DH hype due to WCS mess though, see how it goes

I don't think it affects dreamhack at all, if anything it makes it stronger because people want to support the independent tournaments, also NASL is covering DH until the ro8.

not so much affecting dreamhack, what i meant more was that people have different things in their mind. i would be pleasantly surprised to see DH at 100k+

I don't know if we will see 100k but I'm sure we will have a lot more people watching the first few days to support the NASL stream and I'm sure blizzard will promote it in game (they already have there bnet blog about it up).
We just need some good story lines making deep runs, MLG got very lucky with Flash/Bogus then a Flash/Life final.
Not supporting WCS in client is weird tho, it seems such a simple thing but would help out so much.

Apparently SOTG is a live Q+A with blizzard tomorrow so you could ask about the non promotion if you wanted to.

That will be a real sleeper. As for Group B, I guess it wasn't much of a surprise group after all. The two guys I wanted to go through did.

It sucks even more because Bly is so awesome to watch Wtf, Bly and slivko were never favored to get out of their groups anyways. The top zergs will get through. Eh, Bly was no..... Happy and Lucifron are better than him and were better than him back in WoL (Hasu was also better than him in WoL, but not sure how Hots is suiting him) I disagree, I think Bly was much better in Wings the Happy and the results showed.
Pretty even tbh, although I think Happy has far more potential. LucifroN was an overwhelming favourite to take the group.

That crazy Lucifron. He seems to be the kind of cerebral player to profit from this format.
