But the key word is ladder, he has always been one of the best foreign players in ladder but his nerves and one-dimensional playstyle are major shortcomings.
Happy is actually very similar to him, he had huge winrates in EU ladder but never does that well in tournaments.

You cant say after watching lucifron and thorzain play in tournement after tournement getting results that Demusilm is on Par
Do you even watch his stream or NA streams ? There are no hellbats on this server . I even saw him play Bunny and get really surprised by Bunny's hellbat drop play style .

Predicting Happy to go through, especially with his drop play against Bly's control, as I believe Happy can manage a bit better.

What foreign players do have actual results though?
Huk, Stephano, Mana and Thorzain are the only foreigners to win more than one major LAN with Koreans present.
People are acting like Lucifron has great results, but his only top three finish in a tournament of any significance was WCS Europe, a tournament without Koreans.
I don't see how you can call Demuslim a ladder hero and Lucifron a guy with real results, he's not. Kas has better results than Lucifron really and the only foreign Terran with real results is Thorzain.

Hmm, it might be interesting to compare game duration between the 3 premiere leagues. I bet that games between Koreans last shorter than games between foreigners on average (with games between a Korean and a foreigner lasting the shortest lol).
