MOD NOTE: The bracket on Liquipedia is not final and should be assumed to be speculative. If you are a competitor, trust what MLG Admins tell you over the bracket. |

It would have been weird if he won and they cut the check to the wrong person.

Zenio lost to Center, which isn't too surprising. Comm got DQed and Miya got cheesed hard. Fixed. Getting cheesed is no excuse. He could have dealt with it, but his play was subpar throughout the series. A-moved his army during the 1st game through a minefield, It is hard enough to beat Terran in a macro game these days to even have to worry about cheeses. You really have to be way ahead of Terran going into the midgame or else you will just die to widow mines. That is why cheese are so tough to prepare for right now as Zerg. If you over prepare even slightly you just die later. prepared ot nor he could have won regardless, he held the initial wave, killed all SCVs and hellions without losing all his drones. A roach+queen block a ramp and he is up 10 drones to 1 SCV. Instead he runs one roach around in the middle of the map, has queen at random spot away from the drones and loses everything to 2 hellions being rallied... (and this is ignoring when DB won the first game without cheesing)
Also this was really well microed by drunkenboi. This build has been around since Wings and it really is difficult to pull off if the Zerg is doing a better job. This Zerg whine is ridiculous.

And why didn't he get in ? Because MLG chose a retarted system to run the qualifier . When you restrict your tournament to 512 players and only run 1 you better damn make sure you allow the best players to get in that signed up. So cluckerfuck like this doesn't happen. But psst it's not MLG's fault right , right ?

I would say that this is severe enough to ban from future events as well as a DQ.
It shouldn't be a ban on anybody if the information was first disclosed publicly by MLG, through their own website, as it happened in this case.
