Obviously the lings shouldn't kill the hellbats, but because they have so much health and can be healed by the medivac, you need at least 2-3 spine crawlers per base, and excellent running/splitting to handle a 2 hellbat drop. The best way to stop it is to destroy the medivac quickly and prevent the healing and force terran to spend something on the drop, but one spore & a queen generally won't stop one medivac (it might prevent a 2nd successive drop because the medivac will have low health). But above all else, the hellbat drop can instantly end the game if it works, but is probably just a minor inconvenience if it fails (they're really just the meatshield in a gas-centric mech army anyway). | ||
