I only care about Innovation, he is the best player in the world in terms of raw play imo. If he doesn't make it I will be very surprised and very disappointed.

Gumiho, the god of nine. I hope he finds a way. Gumiho will be well prepared for Rain. they were meant to face off in season 5, but the kespa protoss forfeited his place shortly before the match. kespa practice partners are not enough to prepare you 100% for Gumiho. he could proxy all his buildings, throw a cheese you have never even imagined, or play an extremely unorthodox macro style. vs Bogus, I can picture Gumiho playing some mass widow mine style, drop-centric mech or some heavily upgraded hellion/viking stuff. Gumiho completely stopped streaming a month ago. even in the few broadcasted games Gumiho has played, he hasn't revealed much about his macro style. I keep thinking back to how well he figured out Losira... extremely clever teching, little to no over-aggression, and always one step ahead in his composition. his mechanics may not be as good as Rain/Innovation, but in the elusive land called "supreme lategame" Gumiho is king.

this group is just insane I can't wait. I think Innovation will be the first out because he's probly the best Terran right now. And I have to pick Gumiho because he's one of my favs, I think his creative gameplay will thrive in HotS and he'll make it out.

Terrans in this group look really strong, and Hyun hasn't really been impressive in Hots so far. Of course if Rain plays to his potential he could make it through, but I feel like drop play might be too much for him tonight. Looking forward to some good, close games!

Yeah anything could happen really, but I think rain and innovation have to be the clear favorites even though they play each other first meaning the loser only gets one chance to save themselves so its possible an upset
If I had to pick the upset I think innovation beats rain and then rain loses

as rain and innovation are amongst the favourites to win everything i think itll be hard for gumiho, but i believe !

I hated GuMiho when I first saw him at WCS 2011. He was wearing this nappy-ass flannel jacket and had a bad swath of acne when he came out to play NesTea. Keep in mind NesTea was godlike back then. Anyway, GuMiho won like 2-0 and I was absolutely furious, like who the hell is this guy? He doesn't even micro his hellions, just sends them everywhere! Then a month later, he goes on to make a ro4 run in the GSL, taking out a bunch of fan favorites before finally losing to Jjakji. By then he's like knee-deep in my shit-list. I'm like, for god sakes the guy plays with a towel on his mouse because he sweats like a pig!

Fast forward 2 years and I'm a huge GuMiho fan, lol. I don't know what happened, but now I tune in for all his matches, expecting good things. I think for me he's been such a colorful addition to code-S for so long that it's impossible to not like him now. It's kind of like how I thought Curious was some dead-eyed psycho until I saw him in group noms, then he turned out to be a hilarious guy. Ahhhh, first impressions!
