It's only a $20k prize pool it is played completely online and mostly cross server.. That is like the definition of a minor event.

20 k is very decent for a teamleague and top 4 is going to play offline finals at taketvs apartment.

The Prize pool shouldn't be the deciding factor of wether an event is minor or not it should be the quality of the players involved in it.
ATC might not be a major event but it isn't a minor one.
