There are not 15 europeans, probably not even 5, who could win games against good players in GSTL regularly, let alone devise snipe builds to take out anyone. Tied perhaps with finale, Tails is by far the best player in this qualifier. still tails is not like "uh he beast all europeans" i can name instant 10 who are easy better and so naming 15 isnt that hard (even some unknown i am sure in this matchup tails would have HUGE problems, and the players arent rly known ... jaeh 300ms ARE MUCH but top pros can still win (like hyun) in europe ... but tail lose to guys i never heared of ^^ I think this is a weak argument. But alright, i'll play along - name 10 european pros who could win games regularly in GSTL. I thought the game was naming 10 EU players who are better than Tails? :o Indeed. And to be considered better, I'd say you'd need to match his kill-list either in individual leagues or team leagues. We don't know how good any Europeans are right now because they've barely played HOTS competitively. We all assume Stephano is still number one but he's been smashed in HOTS so far. Results wise it's MaNa -> Luci/VortiX atm, I'd say. Haven't seen anything out of Stephano. Bunny/Welmu/BratOK last foreign hopes What have Lucifron/Vortix done in HOTS? Lucifron looked really behind at IEM but a lot has changed since then. Mana I guess has done the best but that amounts to be good in minor team leagues and I can't really get behind that as good evidence. ATC and Mana's achievements in it are by no means minor. It's only a $20k prize pool it is played completely online and mostly cross server.. That is like the definition of a minor event.
It's not completely online.

Now I ask you, is this a minor tournament in which the achievements of players should mostly be disregarded?

Feast is not really good at doing a 7-gate robo. Better go for a blink all-in.

The Prize pool shouldn't be the deciding factor of wether an event is minor or not it should be the quality of the players involved in it. ATC might not be a major event but it isn't a minor one.

Gee, almost the same prizepool as last year's DreamHack Open tournaments. How minor. We've got high standards nowadays.
It's not only the prize, it's also the players.

Kaelaris is definitely going to get himself committed to a mental institution before these qualifiers are over.
