He is calm in these situations and has a winning mindset whoever he goes against in ZvZ. I doubt alot of the winning pros don't have a this calm and winning mindset lol. Isnt that a very common problem for pros? Especially among foreigners. Huk, Naniwa, Demuslim, Sase... the list goes on. Isnt that one of Stephanoes primary skills, that he can play on his top level no matter what the situation.
Thats why i said winning pros.

dont think so. the other player would just roam free on the map and take more bases, riding out the easy long game win.

Well I think that manchester united has the winner mindset when playing CL but other pro teams like dortmund might not to the same degree? I think it makes a difference, not saying that it will make any difference if you suck at the game it's only game winning if you are on a similar skill level.

Hm it's very situational. Honestly if the other zerg notices that you are teching to infestors they have a timing where they can straight up kill you. I think it's like that really no matter what and if you invest in a ton of spores then you are going to be behind in zerlings so there is still a timing to do a ton of damage/kill you.

Happens with koreans aswell, look at puma, he had - as he was played over and over - sick results in inhouse practice, but just couldn't produce when it was needed.

That makes it almost tautological though since you won't be a winning pro if you choke.

Is there no real answer to the mutas when it enters that stage? or is it pretty much pray for a lucky fungal or get rolled? Soulkey lost when his 3rd couldn't get up and JD had his 3rd up and JD was having better gas count. JD won yeah but Muta vs Muta is just downright stupid now. You won't even get a lucky fungal because you won't be able to get infestation pit and infestors with pathogen glands up before you lose. Ok Thanks. I enjoyed the intense fights but if there is NO answer or other path it's pretty damn stupid indeed. Well you can always try to 2 base turtle on roach/hydra/spore, however once other zerg spots it, already has 3 bases and tech switches into roach/infestor, you have little time to win the game save for a one big push.

Yeah, it's really intense in the early game now, and I personally enjoy the investments in harrassment and defending having an effect on who gets more mutas, it's a nice early game where how well you spend resources matters, but once the mutas get out it's a bit derpy looking.

Well SHIT. This guy is going to be raking in the points.
On my end, I'm happy that Jaedong has finally gotten the monkey off his back... but GODDAMNIT MY FPL; after Rain winning last night I was in good shape, but this has wiped out everything from that... should look for a different bust next time.

My viewpoint is probably 90% due to my emotional investment in the players of that game, but watching JD cancel Soulkey's third over and over again was exciting as fuck. People look at the muta vs muta wars as determining the game but the game was largely won prior to that with the dong's ling control/decision making. I thought it was great.
