I do agree that he's not even one of the better foreign players anymore, but he also did look extremely nervous and made some mistakes he wouldn't normally make. But it's no excuse, really hurts EG-TL's momentum to have such a poor showing after a good opening win.

Because suddenly, based on a single man's unsubstantiated words, one needs to be a progamer to criticize another progamer.

But he got the point. Who knows why he lost. He certainly looked like choking. And at least he is trying and working hard and we should give him props for that. He certainly would've not be here tonight if he didn't deserve his spot.

Maybe I'm old-fashioned, but I always thought what mostly made a good player is winning games.
"Yeah but he showed up so you should revere him." doesn't cut it for me.

I never could get behind the IdrA-logic that a player who destroys his opponent is "terrible" and the losing player more deserving because of vague factors like a "gimmicky" or "abusive" playing style, neither do I think it's appropriate to make excuses for the professionals who repeatedly get their asses handed to them.

To be honest the terran can just lift his CC if the forcefields are "good", and the SCVs will automatically start running to the second CC. Maybe Huk would have killed a few more SCVs but I don't think it would have made a huge difference.

Yup. Sentry drops suck against Terran.

It looks like quite a lot of you guys in the LR thread didn't even notice that the Warp Prism didn't do any damage at all. Killing one SCV and a few Marines is not worth the investment. And delaying the third CC is not much of a result either if your own third is this late.
Huk was never behind by quite a lot in that game and Light pulled some SCVs to finish the job
Just ahead of time, know your addiction's not a crime. It's just a smaller part of who you want to become in the end.

If winning and achievements are factors to judge a good player, plenty of Koreans that are capable of destroying major tournaments in EU/US and are capable of winning Code S are suddenly not good, because they don't win as much or don't have as much achievements. Not pointing towards the huk discussion here, but winning isn't the only sign of a good player.

In a match Flash vs Life, there can be only one winner.

to be honest, I feel that the coach was forced to use Huk because of pressure from the team manager and popularity reasons. He is not even used in the next week..

True but that would make Light make more actions and Huk atleast would have killed more then a single SCV, anything is better then what he did there, and yes i believe it would have made a difference.

(not that Huk would all the sudden win the game ofc)
