This will be a nice BO9. I hope illusion will do good for his new team. And HerOMarine is very strong in Hots, he ha a good chance to get send out aswell. And obviously MaNa and Hasu will be play a huge role.

I don't know if it's just about having some standards or not... but there really aren't (m)any "up and coming" English casters (at least in EU).
I try to cast in English whenever I notice there's an opening but honestly I'm a pretty big downgrade from the casters that have been able to cast ATC :D

TB will cast the whole season, sometimes co-casting with Rotterdam, he's not just there because his team is playing.
The end of this game was terrible, relatively fun to watch until then.

Thx for indepeth explenation of the proces of choosing caster didnt know that.And side note i think your abit too harsh on yourself did hear some of your cast and wouldnt say you would by that much of downgrade compare to others.

An oracle killed a decent amount of probes in the main but i don't think that actually made much of a difference in the fight. Mana was just too greedy and Alicia had way more units and better units.

this is amazing. dota2 is unplayable for asia vs anyone (us or europe). and even eu vs us games have a lot of ping problems, especially when CIS teams play versus players from the westcoast of the us...
I really enjoy sc in a team environment. I hope that this wcs deal is not going to hurt team competitions.

Ah na dont get me wrong on this, I think all in all this game is pretty well balanced. It was a deserved win, hOpe just took that bad fight at crank's natural and after that the supply was even, and in midgame you dont want to be even as a Z versus P.

I think he improved over time and I don't mind him not knowing the name of the map at all. My one complaint is that sometime he's way too assertive and judgmental over player decisions. I prefer when caster either try to explain the player decisions or leave the benefit of the doubt to players who understand the game much better than them. That may be a product of solo casting though.

Think HeroMarine underestimated the number of Colossi that CranK had. With two fewer Colossi Hero probably would have won

This team league format is really exciting, I feel ITPL should of gone this route and perhaps they would of seen more succsess with ITPL.

Amazing by Mana to hold on and eventually take this game, losing bases left and right, taking an awful maxxed engagement. Of course Crank helped him out a ton by playing so passive.
It was the tempests that swung the balance, the era of "who has most collosi (or collosi+immortal)" wins in PvP is officially over! I just hope it doesn't turn into "who has the most tempests".

Hehe someone forget to bring the Tempests to a PvP. Interesting fight though, Cranks composition was rather weak for when Tempest hit the field, but his eco was so far ahead. Crank could have had this game though, but not sure how important range was compared to one Colossus more in the first fight.

Lol, that's the exact opposite of what my casting actually is. I don't make judgments, I present options and possibilities. I know I don't know much, I would never condemn the decision of a player before the result is shown.

Mana played really well, as did hOpe, very impressed (and terrified) by that build. All losses are deserved as are all wins, there's no excuses to be made. I'm impressed with CranKs run even if he fell at the final hurdle, he showed poise and precision under pressure and I hope he can replicate that tonight.

ATC is really enjoyable. It´s got great casting, great variance in teams and runs without 10min breaks after every game. Perfect product for its niche, I think.
