Aside from that atrocious muta defense, the wasted tech structures, and his unnecessary attacking of the spine wall twice it was fine by him. The thing is, Nerchio played way worse even with all of those gaffes.

Nerchio is also really nice...once he is not on the stage anymore! :D
People forget that these players didnt play that much HotS and some (Nerchio in this case) didnt like the decision to play finals on HotS. It totally human to chocke like that if you didnt like the situation from the begining.

because the opponent he has to face in the semis is rated lower than the player he would face in the ro8. looks like it's basically saying if he makes it to the ro4 he's going to win and make top 2 whereas he'll have a harder time vs his ro8 opponent

Still it's not logical at all since top 2 includes top 4. So top 4 chance being lower than top 2 is mathematically impossible. There must be a bug here I suppose.

I think he interpreted "top 4" differently. That is, that Win is a subset of top 2, which is a subset of top 4, etc, where as the above chart interpreted "top 4" as top 4 but not top 2.
