Words can not describe how happy the mana v nerchio series makes me. HOTS is going to save SC2 as an e-sport!! fuck yeah!

It was just about getting hydra den and a-moving into toss base... Its not like Mana would be able to transition into collossus/storm tech after that muta rampage in his bases.

Yeah really weak casting in this whole series in my opinion.
But excusable, they are casting whole days for half a week now and this series was pretty confusing (because Nerchio was somehow falling apart behind his aggression and in the games before there were some really confusing situations too). But I wish they would be a little bit more humble about analyzing stuff on the fly because it's really just the beginning of HotS and you can't really know what is "supposed to happen" and when a player is really far behind or ahead, even as a high level caster, and it's okay to tell that to the audience at this point in my opinion.

Yeah, Nestea has never done such a thing.

Nestea did this against Huk in the GSL. I don't think there's ever been a more humiliating loss than the one Nestea suffered that day. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it.

Don't be ridiculous. Have you ever seen Nestea play in the last year of two? We are talking about 2x years old koreans, NesTea has an excuse .

Wow, Nerchio trying to show us he was a patch zerg or something wtf? Makes mass muti, does nice damage, not enough to win a game...fails to tech outta muti's and his attacks do less and less damage. WTF, i thought Nerchio was good? He just completely face palmed there, so disappointing.

Would be funny if MaNa beat MVP, haha, oh holy lord drama.

As expected like in WoL, you can never win with lings+mutas, even if you have an big andvantage and the opponent only stay at home..

Mana seems like a nice guy.
Too bad he gets beat up by Mvp now.

Mana didn't even play that bad, I think my frustration with that game rests squarely on Nerchios shoulders.

How does zerg beat skytoss turtle on metropolis? Mass mutas in mid game? Possibly. But I think stargate opening should do very well on this map and keep zerg away from it. Especially because you can easily add on fleet beacon + more stargates to combat muta. It's not a good idea on every map but metropolis has easily defendable bases so committing to air should be fairly easy for toss. Kinda like Akilon Flats but with 5 bases instead of 4. Nah, zerg just makes mutas. Having 6 phoenixes means squat if zerg can just make 20 mutas at once. But Mana played badly on the oter hand.
Well if zerg just makes 20 mutas midgame after a standard opening and you haven't prepared for it by then, you've kinda done something wrong...

Personally I don't find bad play exciting...

Anyone who said mana played bad in that last game as no idea how hard it is to defend Muta in mana's position, especially in hots. Mana's strength of mind shows so strongly that he was able to power through like that.
