And we also currently have a member of each race winning a group from the first three groups.
Who would have thought that Mvp could beat Grubby. Balance that shit. But the zergs qualifying will be foreigners. And we all know what that means.

Uh people were saying he was top 50 hots beta with the barcode O_o (and top 50 is really hard to do at the end of hots ^^). 3weeks ago, Lucifron was one of three who disliked the "old" idea from IEM (WOL tournament and only grandfinal is HotS), because trained 100% WoL for this tournament.

he dropped from code A by losing to?

Doesn't matter. This is how Mvp was throughout most of last year. He can look terrible at times, but can really pull himself together for really strong tournament runs in between. Probably due to how much he's been training due to his injuries, but it's quite clear he looks in good touch atm. if you can't see past the speedmedivacs, then you're not watching hard enough.

Even if he isn't the best Terran, he's still one a top level Korean going up against a very good, but not elite foreigner. I love Grubby and think he's a top player, but he still hasn't won a major tournament (from my knowledge) and isn't a world beater.
Anyone whining about balance when a member of each race has won a group so far seems ridiculous.

How does terran lose with that unit, the mobility is retarded. Because it requires absolutely stupid amounts of micro to use the way MVP did. I seriously doubt the imbalance extends beyond the top tier pros. Well but that's what it is about, the game has to be balanced around Flash, Rain and Roro. Now Flash with these medivacs is not balanced. And you know that how? Are you some kind of oracle who just KNOWS that people wont be able to defend these drops once they learn to deal with it? Btw im considering playing the lottery, can you inbox me the winning numbers please? Well everyone basically agreed on this after the last rain vs flash games in code A. Sorry I never win a thing and don't play the lottery^^. "Everyone basically agreed", well that's enough to convince me. The amazingly insightful hivemind called something imba, they must be correct.
Okay let me elaborate. Blizzards argument for the new ability is that drops are figured out and are no longer viable. But they want to see drops so they buffed medivacs. Now Flash showcased that terrans can still dismantle their opponents completely with normal medivac drops if timed correctly and executed by one of the best. So if Rain had no chance defending it without speedboost imagine it in hots. That's what "everyone agreed on" but let's just wait and see and enjoy the games as they are right now. Looking forward to players adapting their drop defense as the tournament goes on.

Well, at this point, going bio only for medivac speed and completely ignore widow mine, hellbat, thor's aa, shared mech/air upgrade is kinda telling that medivac speed is a bit "too" good..

Actually, considering the current situation i wouldn't be surprised if he is the best HoTS terran atm. Don't forget that a big part of his strength is from his ability to do everything and his great decision making. Now combine that with a new game that is not figured out and Mvp gets a massive boost.
