This is a hard one. MMA definitely had the higher peak and has the GSL titles. But MKP's longevity can't be ignored. If you asked me in Oct 2012, I would probably still picked MMA. But with his slump being so prolonged. I think I would have to take MKP.

I'm not quite sure about MMA having the higher peak, though, to be honest. he dodged a lot of protoss on his way to title wins - imagine if MKP could do the same with zergs these days hahaha. taeja was never really on the radar until liquid sent him everywhere, either, just farming the ESV cups lol

Yeah, basically this. I can see how TaeJa didn't peak as strongly as MKP/MMA/PartinG/Life, but for terran he's definitely top 5 of all WoL despite this fact. I'd put him above Polt too, haha. Maybe Mvp, MMA, MKP, TaeJa, Polt.
MKP vs MMA is damn hard though, MKP has technically been a more important historical figure, but second places always end up counting for very little...
I mean, if you saw people compare him to someone like or Flash, or even Mvp, then yeah, that is overrating or at least overestimating TaeJa... But guy is legit good, haha. If you want overrated terran, go pick on Bomber. :D

Well, both Mvp and MMA 'dodge' protoss on some of their GSL runs. But we also have to remember that it wasn't lucky dodging since the number of protoss in GSL was so low. Which is definitely not the case for zergs now.

This is a hard one. MMA definitely had the higher peak and has the GSL titles. But MKP's longevity can't be ignored. If you asked me in Oct 2012, I would probably still picked MMA. But with his slump being so prolonged. I think I would have to take MKP. I mean my personal criteria for judging a player for WoL as a whole is:
Champ wins/Notable finishes
Consistency/Longevity of relevance
Innovation
Peak Performances
in order of importance, the first two being considerably more important than the latter two.
MMA wins category 1 but not by very much. MKP did get 3 silvers and has had great international results.
MKP wins category 2 by a huge gap. He's been around for longer and has never fallen completely off like MMA currently is.
MKP should also win as the more innovative player.
Peak performance feels like a tie to me. MMA was sick at the end of 2011 and parts of early 2012. Hell he was one of the few to take out MVP convincingly...and he did it twice. Not to mention his legendary TvZ. He always had TvP as an issue though.
However, MKP was very good in all matchups early 2012 and won back to back MLG events and two high place finishes at the next two. He was extremely sick in team leagues as well.

How about Ryung? I think a strict top 10 is just too hard due to weighting of GSL vs weekend tournaments vs team leagues vs online.
Probably best if we do tiers instead. And terrans is actually pretty easy. Zergs is tough (Nestea, Life, DRG, Leenock...)
