Sorry for edit Yeah Mech need HotS.

I must say as a long time BW viewer, really weird to see RorO of all players beasting in SC2. He neither fits the mold of the BW Ace, like Soulkey, Jaedong, Flash, etc. Nor does he fit the mold of that young, upcoming player in BW who made a great transition, like Bogus, Rain, etc. The guy was a BW vet and a 50% vet at that. His style in BW was cookie cutter macro zerg. Below average micro, above average macro, plays fairly smart but not OMG game-sense. Just overall the definition of average.
Really shows the randomness the transition can be for different players.

He obviously was counting on winning a base trade, where he'd backstab Parting and then rely on spinecrawler/infestor to hold off the main army. That's a winning strategy and will beat most players.
He didn't count on Parting giving up his third entirely and hard fortifying his natural, making a complete base trade a lot harder to win.
Yes, he could have micro'd his mutas better. But would it really have mattered? He would have still lost his infestors and most importantly the positional advantage because Parting would have killed his spinecrawlers.
So Life could have had half a pack of mutas left over, which is still GG. Except that fortifying one base has always been Parting's strategy against a muta base trade so it really shouldn't be unexpected since Life was his training partner. Not clumping the mutas is a huge deal. Back when Thors were used against mutas, engaging them correctly using boxing is a huge huge deal and was one of the skills you needed to learn when controlling mutas. The same applies here. Spread out above the colossus so that Parting would be forced to storm his own units. Parting was so clumped up. With that amount of mutas, the dps should be more than enough to take down all the colossus. After that you just retreat, and use the superior economy to whittle down the main force of Parting. Life had 4 bases then...He could afford to lose 2. But because of the mutas just standing there in storms, the muta dps dropped way too fast for them to finish the colossus.
Good points here. If Life had sacrificed his mutas to take out the colossus, though, Parting still would have had a big blink stalker ball, while Life would have had nothing. Life might still have lost the game as Parting killed his natural and main.
I do agree that it might have been more dicey if Life had engaged perfectly and not lost his mutas, though.

I'm not sure if youre being sarcastic or not (in relation to the bold part).
The banter in regards to Startale v LG-IM, or SK Telecom T1 v KT Rolster is more productive and relative to what you've mentioned. The KeSPA/eSF thing is more comparable to soccer hooligan's starting riots in the streets of Europe cause their team lost.

I don't know about that.
Anything can happen.
As much as I like Bogus (I, and maybe a few others, called him the Terran version of Rain when he started owning it up out of no where in Season 5), he has been inconsistent in proleague. Plus last season, he 3-0 Soulkey only to be 1-3 by Hyun.
Fortunately I only remember him losing to Protoss in Proleague, so that means he may have an edge over Symbol.
Roro is Roro.
Soulkey, we'll have to see.
Also KeSPA Ro4 curse.
Rain lost in Ro4 Season 4. Bogus, in Ro4 in Season 5.
The potential for no KeSPA players to make out of (or to) Ro4 is there!
I am definitely rooting for at least 1 KeSPA player (that isn't Parting, since he's been mostly trained as an ESF player during his wins) to make it to the finals though.
