Nobody is arguing that protoss midgame is too weak. You're addressing a matchup as a whole when all that's being discussed is the lategame stage. Your argument contributes nothing to the discussion. Give me a lategame statistic, that's what's relevant

Squirtle begins looking really good, get's a lot of hype by Tastosis and now he might go out. Kinda like DRG yesterday, "I wouldn't be surprised if DRG takes this GSL", "the best he's ever looked" etc and now he's out. Feels strange.

So forcing cancel on 4th and 5th is not harass? How did you harass a 3 base zerg when they have infestors?? Squirtle did pretty well mid game to keep Soulkey in check to be honest.
And the all-in in game 2 was forced because he messed up his defense of Soulkey's bust. There was no way he could just retake his nexus when Soulkey was up to 3 bases.

because upgraded Voidrays, even uncharged, destroy Corruptors and if the zerg wasted all their energy of the infestors their army is dead. The transition just is really fragile (thats why you get carriers first, distract the corruptors from colossus and you can snipe tons of infestors).
Soulkey hit the perfect timing (his only probably) and Squirtle thought he could hold the 4th long enough, while killing the Zerg eco. Thats why he set up the cannons down there not even protecting the 4th really.
At the end it was just luck that the Broodlords didn't die on the first Vortex and that Squirtle was to greedy with his second Vortex as well and lost his MS before using it. If you commit so much supply to kill the eco of your opponent you really need to control everything at home perfectly.
