Why did DRG fall back so early? Innovation had something like 6 marines left, didn't he see?

ROFL. Innovation must be fucking sick of DRG just running into his base defense and absolutely owning it. 3 times in 2 weeks.

Honestly what depresses me the most is people making it out like bogus had 3x the apm of drg that game.

maybe you need to be a terran player to realize how freaking difficult it is to do what bogus was doing. microing your hellions everywhere denying creep whilst macroing is very unforgiving. It was spectacular play really.

THIS.
Ofc DRGs APM are mostly macro, creepspread etc.
But ofc you could never ever multitask like Innovation does, and Micro, Zerg is just not made for it and I think because terran have to do that all the time since the beginning of sc2, while Zerg don't have to do it for the win (i don't say IMBA, its just different to play), OFC Innovations Multitasking und (real)APM are much higher and more valuable

I think Bogus shows very well the superiority of KeSPa players (or their training/mindset). Not saying he's better than DRG or that he'll win for sure or even make the group, but the training they undergo and variety of builds they can bring to the table is amazing. I really feel that everyone that followed broodwar can relate to what I'm saying here.

Bogus can play standard games, cheese games. He can flip the coin. He is able to react and dictate games, enjoying his play very much! gogo Bogus!

I don't understand why everytime a kespa player plays, people feel the need to either point out how "superior" kespa players are, or start typical kespa vs ESF bullshit. He played well because he's an excellent player.

Don't know how its ESF vs KeSPa when I compliment the training/mindset of a KeSPa players or the KeSPa players overall. It just shows in most series that KeSPa players tend to be more build/map specific than the ESF ones. I did never bash ESF players and I also didn't say DRG is bad, I even complimented him earlier this thread, but as I said, everyone that did follow broodwar can and will relate to the training/mindset/preperation of the players that mirrors their behaviour in broodwar.

Using the phrase "superiority of the kespa players" is always going to open a can of worms, and is likely to start kespa vs ESF wars.

Really shows how good these games are!

It is a lot more 15k on twitchtv rest ppl on gomtv.net

The majority don't watch on GOM but yeah theres the korean stream as well.

i think a similar amount watch on GOM and twitch? not many on KR stream i bet too, i think foreign viewers outnumber domestic by quite a bit

I really doubt it because how high the price is.
And I don't get why a non paying costumer would watch on gom instead of twitch.

i'm just really used to opening the GOM stream, so i'm watching on GOM atm

Because you are just baiting for an arguement of something totally unrelated to the games today displayed. And yes, there could be an arguement about it.

Might be I'm baiting, but no way its unrelated. Check out how DRG playes, same build, same style every game basically. Akilon flats, same style he played against Bogus in Ro32. So no, its not unrelated. But I'll quit it for now, just wanted to compliment Bogus and people just start the hate train!

The kind of joke that makes Gom the only tournament (almost) that does not live off financing and sponsors to operate, having established an actual source of revenue.

pretty sure GOM lives off sponsors for the prize pool and production; i find it hard to believe they can raise $150,000 USD of revenue from subscriptions

+The money it takes to run a game studio and pay all their employees. Their running costs are definetly much higher than the prize pool costs.

DRG playing so sloppy. Army not together. A moving banes so they kill marines 1 for 1, rather than targeting the mass of marines in a corner... Still winning though.
