Well aLive qualified so I guess your eye for talent is so-so.

Yes BISU didnt get through!!!! Even though it was pretty mich a given he wouldnt qualify.

Sad though that MMA didnt get through

Also lol at Artosis being named a notable player.

how can ANYBODY be happy bisu not get trough ? even if not on best, so much history/drama and potencial in this guy.
i mean what you want "oh here a new guy i dont knoiw vs a guy we said all above"
or "hey bisu he is blablabla" so much to say to fill start time of a game ^^

Coming from a non bw background, I just hope to have a better skilled player to qualify.
Much better to see good players playing amazingly than a famous player playing average level and completely disappoint everyone
For example everyone says flash is god etc, but he isn't really doing anything all that amazing compared to other top players.

You probably don't watch proleague if you say that. Flash is an amazing player in Proleague.

GSL is a tournament that the KeSPA players don't care very much about. Look at who qualified in code A: mostly b-teamers who don't practice for PL because they aren't good enough to be sent out anyway.

Not trying to start anything but I just want to address your point, Kespa players may care about Proleague more but the only reason that is due to more exposure they get. GSL is definitely the better league in terms of skill though.
And to be honest not many ESF players that are well known played in the qualifiers or if they did they qualified/made it far/lost to someone well known.

I do think that many posters here do not realize the importance/value of PL to Koreans. PL has much longer history then GSL, bigger prize pot, much bigger production value, real televised matches and more Korean viewers. You foreign fans do not understand that every Korean player will put PL as his first priority way way before GSL. I think A-leaguers will always fail in GSL because on training they are practicing certain builds for PL, but they won't show them on GSL, they rather play cheese/something they don't practice then revealing their winning strats, but B-leaguers who not go out in PL will play tactic they practice in GSL and therefore do better!

LOL Bisu.. this time failing in the qualifiers to a Terran? Man he's fallen hard.

Really interesting to see all the strong players that didn't make it through. Poor MMA. ;;

Also, any hints as to who 최성일 might be? TLPD links to this empty profile: (P)ChoiSungIl. Coming out of nowhere and beating up dreamertt and Lucky... will keep an eye out for him for sure. ^^

He is a CJ Entus b-teamer and there is no information about him he does not even have a nickname (I saw him as Bytrust somewhere though).

Wow, winning IPL 4 and going Top 4 Code S (both aLive and Oz) requires zero talent........at all

Troll away.

you probably think TaeJa is a lot better but aLive isnt an less accomplished Terran.

Oz was the best player along with Leenock before he left FXO

Just leave this page pls. your newschool (KeSpa fanboy?) knowledge is sickening.

I understand that you root for Fnatic but do not be so agressive. Oz and aLive sometimes showed some very intresting builds and definitely have a talent.

If you've never seen Oz PvZ on Daybreak you're missing out, obviously... 4 minute third into winning every game against Zerg on the map.

wow I didn't expect to start a Kespa/PL vs GSL argument @@

I watch proleague fairly consistently due to me having a long holiday + I live in the Asia timezone.
I think it's safe to say Flash is good in Proleague compared to most but if you compare him to the best terrans in SC2, like Taeja or MVP, I really haven't seen too much of him showcasing anything special

But overall, I haven't seen a lot of AMAZING games in Proleague yet, maybe because of casters/bo1/weird maps.
The best one I like so far is actually Stephano ZvT roach hydra ultra game on cloud kingdom.

So your argument for not wanting Bisu to qualify is you would rather see awesome games from amazing players than famous people playing. Yet part of the reason you don't think you have seen awesome games in PL is because of the CASTERS?

Clearly you just want to watch awesome players and aren't biased to the name or anything. Impressive.

Oz is simply a creative head and everyone enjoys seeing players who try out unorthodox things, in a state of game where everything became boring and standartized - his builds are cool and fun

Too bad we wont be able to watch him today, still hope he catches a rather easy group.

Good casting can make a match better. They can point out things about the game that you don't know or notice and make it more enjoyable.

I don't quite get how he can drop from being one of the best PvPers ever, into the worst. Granted it's PvP.

Bisu had a higher Brood War Elo rank than Flash at the end. It annoys me when people are so dismissive of him as someone with 'just' good mechanics. You don't become the second best ranked BW player at the end if you don't legitimately understand the game. He'll do fine eventually, if he keeps up his practice.
Well, now I tell you, I never seen good come o' goodness yet. Him as strikes first is my fancy; dead men don't bite; them's my views--amen, so be it.
