HerO fanboys really need to shut the fuck up and stop seeing their hero (no pun intended) as the second coming of christ.. It's like seeing SKT1 fanboys whining about their team sending out BeSt in their ace matches instead of Bisu. HerO and Bisu are equally overrated in their respective careers.

Considering he's the player Kespa protoss studied from and probably continue to do so, no. No I don't think so. And Bisu wasn't overrated.

He was overrated by the time BeSt became Ace material, Bisu was no where near Jangbi, or even Stork's level of success during that period.

Pretty sure Fantasy is SKT1's Ace, if not their best player

are we talking about broodwar or sc2 because bisu has the record for most win in proleague with 63 wins in a season, combine that with his 3 msl wins and him revolutionising pvz i dont think he is overated. in sc2 he is chobo.

Oh, man I haven't heard that word enough since BW proleague and OSL ended.
SC2 needs more chobo.

Man, I'm so "disappointed" about Stephano not having an all-kill knowing that he was playing for the first time in Proleague. Could have been something really epic. Anyway, he did very well. (i know zvz is not his best game)
As for EG-TL sending Jyp in the ace match, I really think that was a bad decision (now seeing how bad that map is for PvZ).

All in all, EG-TL did good, hope they bring in the full artillery for the next round.

I think by getting 2 kills he still managed to satisfy any potential critics.
It may be "only" proleague, but to go out there and kill 2 kespa guys first time round, and be the best man on your team for that day, he did very well.
Proleague MVP coming up.

I did say don't expect him to drop below 50%! 2-1 isn't a bad start and next up for him is Khan, so it should be no problem if he gets the call to Paris in round 2!

Wow aside from bbyong none of these KeSPA players are even I'm code s. How did they beat the likes of code s players like Huk and stephano? And what happened to the TL portion of EGTL? Anyone have a clue as to why liquid hero or Taeja wasn't sent out? Were the TL players elsewhere at that moment?

EG-TL is ranked #5 out of 8 teams. I think it is safe to say that the KeSPA players either don't value GSL very highly or that they somehow don't like the format (which could be said about EGTL in PL too).

The last map for JYP just seems IMPOSSIBLE for a protoss player to fast expand on. The amount of buildings you need to just protect the nexus is ridiculous since there are 3 potential entrances to the base that only take a little bit of time to open up.

And I'm saying all of this as a Zerg player, but that was not fun to watch JYP play amazingly but just never be able to get out of his base because he was defeated by the map.

wouldn't it have made more sense to send out taeja against hydra, who has worse vT than vP? Sending out JYP doesn't make much sense

Hydra Zerg.

JYP was known for his PvZ. TaeJa is resting. Need I rationalize it more?

No where near Jangbi and Stork? This was the season Bisu set the record for most proleague wins with a 62-15 record or over 80 %. That broke Flash's record. 80 % win rate is insane. Jangbi was in a terrible during this time and Stork had 39 wins.

Bisu beat Jaedong and Flash to lead T1 to the winners league title. In 2012 proleague finals Bisu beat Flash in the ace match, so he at least deserved a shot the season before imo. What's done is done though. I'm talking about BW obviously not sc2.

I don't know if your trolling or just retarded, but it sure is annoying reading bullshit like this with no facts to back it up.

Neo Caldeum is a really bad map for PvZ and opening FFE... you have to cover 3(!) entrances with cannons which in the end killed JYP. Don't blame Hydra for playing this out perfectly, just JYP for not adjusting his opening right for this map.

Uff, would really like to see Jaedong sent out some more. Especially against Zerg, his ace-match record was awesome when he played for Team 8 last season even though his overall record was not amazing..

Wow, I've never excited for a proleague match in my life, had so much fun watching it. Really nice move by Kespa to put foreigner team, well done.

Its a damn shame EGTL lost this. Stephano played so well even after almost being DQed for being well mannered. You've got to wonder why they'd send JYP out as ace. IF you wanted to play a PvZ ace match, Hero is usually a better choice, and Taeja is never a bad idea.

Agreed. Having a foreigner team plus reading TL articles make the matches so much more compelling & interesting. Looking forward to more EG-TL matches!
