Im surprised so many people are saying here what Xlord did was just a funny joke, a prank you pull with friends.

I think what he did was totally inappropriate for the moment, Snute working so hard and finally getting the recognition by winning a tournament with a stellar performance. Then Xlord tries to do this, taking away from the moment. Just very poor taste in my opinion.

It's hard to say what one would do in that situation, but in retrospect I don't think it's prudent to award wins in situations where an undecided game disconnects. It's detrimental to the integrity of the sport as a whole, and it is unfair to the viewers and not to mention the players participating in the tournament.

Im not calling for a witchhunt, Im just saying that for that moment that joke was inappropriate. The fact that there was alcohol involved or the setting was relaxed is not a wild card to do ridiculous things. You might think this was a hilarious joke. In my opinion it showed really poor taste from XlorD.

Ok we got it like three times now.. you didn't like it.
Quit watching HSC then and stop trying to tell others at what time which behavior is inappropiate cause it gets boring really fast and you don't really have a point dude. Its just your opinion and there is no ultimate correctness rule everyone has to follow.

Congratulations Snute, so well deserved! I just love that his hard work payed of and this win isnhuge for him since his contract with GL is over and he will get lots of offers for 2013!

XLord - while he surely wasn't gaining much fans with his overall behaviour - doesn't deserve all the internet-hate that is coming at him. I'm a bit disappointed by the pitch-fork mob that is moving through the town that is called reddit.
But on the other hand, what did I expect?

I imagine the thought going through Snewts head at the ceremony to be like : wtf is wrong with you LOL! Then back to focusing on the better things in life, like enjoying his big win. Huge congrats to Snewtie for this win!
Shame about all the hang ups with the stream, Take. But again you show off a really nice tournament. I'm eagerly awaiting the next one :D

Stephano was so right.
All in all it was a great tournament. The stream problems on day 2 and 3 were annoying and the fact that you couldn't get the premium stream without a credit card in Germany, too. But besides of that, everything was perfect.
OK, I hoped to see more player-interviews between the games instead of that much commercials (yeah I know, Take has to do that to get money) and something like Looping Louie on stream or some funny ladder sessions with Naama and Moman like on HSC IV. But that's not that important. It was an awesome tournament and I really enjoyed it.

I just watched the vod and this was the best ending of any tournament I've watched so far. A really fun award ceremony without awkwardness and then the brilliant video with all the wishes from the players.
So cool <3 HSC!
