-What i liked especially is that the amount of Koreans was perfect to create excitement even in the later phase of the tournament. -Europe is growing really strong, especially when you consider what strong players were missing (Naniwa, Thorzain, Nerchio, Duran Duran, Titan,...) -Openminded people saw some interesting ZvZs, where the highlevel commentators worked out the decisive details in a nice way. -Openminded people don't need the highest level of play to enjoy an exciting tournament, the ultra high level of this tournament was enough to provide us with awesome games. -Players casting or casters with high master level still make for the best casting. -People who want to be offended or hate on players will always find their niches. But please carry that stuff over to Reddit. I prefer quality content on TL.net and drama on Reddit. | ||

pro players are the best casters so tired of listening to people cast who have half the amount of knowledge the pro players do. wish we would see this more | ||

I mean, the players are joking with eath other all the time, just look at the vod of that scene, everbody is laughing, and snute as well. Yes its childish humor, the same kind of humor you'd expect out of some calling himself Xlord (or Sexlord), but its not mean-spirited and certainly doesnt justify all the hate. I dont exactly appreciate xlords behavior, but this is just unnecessary drama. Plus, saying you hate someone because you dont like his face is equally "retarded". | ||

On the other hand, I didn't watch from the round of 4 on and I think many people did the same. The amount of viewers has been going down steadily lately. I imagine zvz fatigue has a good amount to do with it. Terran is once again very under represented in tournament finals. 29 premier tournaments since May. 58 finalists. 9 of the 58 are terran. Let that marinate for a minute. I know premier tournaments aren't the best indicator of balance, but its 29 of them over a 7 month period. I'm sure it can't help viewership and I hope Blizzard works on this if not in Wings, in HOTS. I really don't want all of those sc2 is dying posts to be right. | ||
