To be fair, he is the only GSL-worthy player in the tournament, and making Ro4 doesn't hurt the resume.

Do you perhaps mean code s-worthy? Because Miya, Heart and MMA were all in code a last season

Hmmm, that does seem more reasonable, but Miya, Heart and MMA are all in Code B I believe, while CranK has never made a huge splash beyond a few interesting games, and is Code B. Just based on current GSL rankings, it is safe to say Ryung is the better player imo.

It's because it was hyped well, the thread made in advance, community news'd, the player interviews, husky and tb tweeted about it, husky made a video.

plus it's a lot of fun

Largest in what aspect?

In terms of quality of play: quite possibly.

In terms of prize money: I have no idea.

In terms of number of players: I don't think so.

but none of them are in code A next season bar requalification!

Ryung might drop out as well, we have no clue atm.

+ Show Spoiler +
just trolling, Ryung is clearly the best player out of these guys atm. Except for maybe Husky in FFA, he is very experienced in that regard.

Heart and MMA were in code S last season. Heart got to the round of 16 too, so to say Ryung is the only GSL-worthy player seems pretty unfair.

Current results are far more important than the past ones, and I'm not really seeing GSL-worthy play from the other four personally. They are great players who all made their mark in GSL, don't think I deny that, but there is a reason why they are in Code B, let alone Code A/S.

Sure, unless they have creep spread for queens or hydras.

No reason for Miya to get hydras yet, when I tried that against him on ladder he just got a few out and denied me from attacking the swarm hosts.
