Ok, let's get something straight, Taeja and Hero, and probably even Stephano will tear shit up, I totally see that happening (sadly not today).

But to sit there and say that other teams don't have their answer to Taeja and Hero is just... sad. It's like you guys don't even watch Proleague at all.

No they won't.

Agreed.

Taeja and HerO aren't even big league champions. Even multi champions in BW got demolished pretty often in proleague, let alone the more volatile SC2 matches.

To win championship, you pretty much need all players on your lineup to be extremely good, then you can get over 60% winrate.

ACE status confirmed.

Thanks for the FPL points, KT. Now go try playing against a real team.

For the hundredth or so time in this thread... NASL is in 12 hours. You expect HerO or TaeJa to go to IPL5, come back to Korea for this match, and go back to California for NASL the day of this match?

twitch.tv/sc2proleague subscribe. Watch the full season in HD and get access to VODs for $5. One time payment, not a monthly thing. Just $5 and you get the entire season from today until August.

nobody hyped them to win it all.. they are hyped because they are the first (i think) non-korean team to compete in proleague and their roster is FULL of fan favorites. They could win or get last and the community is behind them. This is a feel good moment for those that watched BW and know the importance of proleague. Western teams have finally made it to the big show and it's fucking fantastic.

The curse is strong with this one.
Hope TL can survive SPL.

Teamilquid ranked them number 1 in their preview, while the english casters said they have a good chance of winning not only against KT but taking the whole championship, seeing how they are more experienced in SC2. So yeah, people were expecting more.

A Proleague team wouldn't let their only two decent players play in some American tournament while the match was going on, would they? Pull the players from NASL and get them to grind inhouse games for their match.

It's the same story as Liquid in GSTL all over again. All show, no commitment.

The elitism of some people here is really pathetic. Just because you watched broodwar and your favorite players now play sc2, doesn't mean that all of a sudden every non kespa player is shit.... tbh I was hoping for an EGTL win but I didn't see it happening, but that doesn't mean that EGTL won't pick up any wins and it most certainly doesn't mean that only kespa players are the shit now

Yeah... zeno, jyp, thorzain, and jaedong are good, but where were your anchors at? I'd love to know why EG-TL chose Zenio, JYP, and Thorzain to compete rather than Taeja, Hero, and Stephano. Best analogy I can think of is having your 2nd stringers starting the game.

I don't think a single EG-TL member that played tonight has higher than 46% win rate this year. KT didn't send a player out tonight that had less than a 57% win rate this year. Would be really interesting to hear the EG-TL's coaches mindset in setting their roster up. It just doesn't make sense to me, at all.
I might be the minority on TL, but TL is the minority everywhere else.

manner. I opened up the reply box and between watching STX vs SK Telecom and looking at TLPD it was ~30 minutes before I hit the post button oO That reply was made somewhere in the middle lol. Take a deep breath! Its all good dood.

Personally, if EG-TL can't give 100% to SPL I would rather they didn't commit to it. I don't want to see our foreign banner getting run over because we have to many irons in the fire. I want to see total domination, or at the very least, I want to see the best we have to offer T.T;
I might be the minority on TL, but TL is the minority everywhere else.
