What did I tell you... unless they field their best korean lineup of taeja, hero and puma.... EGTL will almost always suffer embarrassing losses.
The gap between Western vs Asian players continue to grow...

Disappointing sure, but nothing to be sad or worry about. Looking forward to their next match up.

Terran can easily hold three bases and play mech with an incredibly strong timing that can roll through zerg's fourth and siege up on zerg's third. I have nothing to do with this. The former SKT1 coach trOt that EG hired is doing all the work for this.
YES.
Because you were awesome in WCS!

You just watched 4 SC2 bo1s. Two of them were all ins. One was a simple unscouted timing. There are no broad conclusions to be drawn yet...smarten up.

Mabye you're right... since it is just one Bo7 so far. But to call the games as two all ins and an unscouted timing is hilarious. Perhaps I am not the only one that needs to "smarten up".
Why don't you please take your time to enlighten me with a large post that I probably won't bother reading.

No they don't.
Especially Kespa players playing literally 8hrs a day ~ or even more.
Nerchio once said in an interview that to be a "top" zerg he only need like 2 hrs (can't remember if it was 2 or 4) You see the difference on mentality?
Koreans (especially kespa's) want to be the best and invest themselves fully into the game.
There is no magic powder that makes them better, just hard work (and of course talent)

Good games guys! Hope you've all enjoyed your very first time on the Proleague! Next time please win :D

This was not a day of Koreans > foreigners, this was a day of Koreans > Koreans and 1 foreigner. If you really want to extract some MEANING from today's results, how about 'elephants are coming' or some other cliché.

Hardly dumb or naive. All KeSPA teams have same or better 1-2 punch than HerO and Taeja. This is proleague, not MLG. Unless you know somethigng that no-one else does, this is a fairly ignorant statement. SKT- Rain/Soo/Fantasy Samsung- Jangbi/Roro STX- Last/Trap/Bogus Woonjin- Flying/Soulkey/SOS KT- Flash/Stats/KH CJ- Effort/Bbyong/Skyhigh/Hero Team 8- Baby/Jaedong (still technically part of team 8, just loaned to EG for a year) This is Proleague, not MLG. SKT - Fantasy/Soo not as good as either hero or taeja. Samsung - Jangbi has done nothing of note yet STX - Only Bogus is notable Woongjin - Only soulkey is any good, and in relative decadence since his debut in SC2 KT - Only flash so far, stats has been decent but nowhere near hero/taeja CJ - Close, but still rather unproven T8 - JD doesn't count, plus he's not as good as either hero or taeja, same for baby, worst team in PL Stop looking with you BW tinted glasses, you just don't seem to know a lot about SC2 apparently. The actual truth is that this is pretty hard to evaluate right now, since most PL players have played a small sample of relevant matches (Against code S level players). All we know is that Hero and taeja are pretty damn good at SC2. and you could stop looking at results when most of these players didn't even play in many tournaments so ofcourse they haven't done anythint notable. if you actualyl would look at the gameplay (if u can do that dunno if you get what is going on there) you would see that there are enough people that can go toe to toe with hero/taeja. but i will love it when hero comes back and plays his first game and will get rolled. i already see the comments "oh he choking. his nerves. big issues". oh and iam sure every KeSPA team will snipe these players 2 hell. Not to mention that people are citing foreign results -_-; It's like citing checkers winrate in a go league. Ok lets look at GSL since it is clearly the best place to look for individual abilities (and kespa players have been in it since season 4) Taeja has made 3 ro8s and a ro4. Hero has mad 2 ro8s. Both have been in GSL almost the entire year. Zenio has been in GSL almost all year (code A but has been in code s also) Same for JYP. Stephano has posted very good results (look at the GSL korean vs foreigner thing almost all killed them) So what results or gameplay are you looking at that say these players can compete with that? None. It's the fact that it's still checkers in a go match. It'd make just as little sense citing go statistics in comparison to checkers ones. Also, check the recent thread on Stephano - he is BARELY over 50% vs. Koreans, and most of them not even Code S caliber. Case closed. Ok you must be trolling. You just said that quoting FOREIGN tourneys is bad and is like comparing checkers with go. So I get only GSL results which is basically the best way of showing a players performance. You are literally making blatant assertions without any support and just saying that EVERY result that the EGTL players have had including the GSl are completely irrelevant. You can throw out Stephano but that doesn't disregard any of the other players. The FACT is that in the most competitive tournament the EGTL players (the good ones anyways) have had WAY more success than the Kespa players. Also your comparison to checkers and go is completely misguided since in that scenario it is a different game. Regardless of the tournament its the same game. In fact any results the Kespa players have that isn't GSL or possible OSL is irrelevant since it is a foreign event. Which means that Flash and almost all the other Kespa players have had 0 meaningful results under YOUR OWN LOGIC.

I understand that. It initially started out with him having like 3 players from every team that was better than basically everyone on EGTL which is ridiculous. I understand that players like Rain, Soulkey, Bogus have shown to be very good players. However other players have either not been able to even make the GSL or have fallen out very quickly. That was my point. Might have gone overboard after his ridiculous comment saying that the GSL results don't matter.
