They really need HerO and Taeja to play, they are the only top class players on EG-TL (JD could be, but he's not yet). In terms of raw talent, all the others just don't come close to the BW bred Kespa players. Then you factor in that practically everyone in EG-TL has hit their peak, while the Kespa teams are still improving + the better preparation of the Kespa teams and it's a seriously uphill battle for EG-TL in PL.

Oh yeah. And the Proleague boss himself to return to glory!

Honestly I think they have a real chance if Sea and JD can help establish a similar practice regime that exists with the Kespa teams. If that happens I think they could be pretty good.

ROFL@ TLEG
The stupid hype train got derailed by one of the worst teams as per their preview article.
Stop thinking that this is GSTL where one person can carry the entire team. You need at least 3-4 extremely strong players who you can count on to win a match for you. Hero and Taeja alone just ain't gonna cut it.

Eg-lliquid willl do better next time time ... fighting !!!

TLEG was playing on a very weak lineup in comparison to their full strength.

Plenty of foreigners who root for KT.

I think this is going to be one of their biggest problems. They have no chance of winning PL if they don't commit their strongest lineup to it, but that will mean missing many foreign tournaments, right?
Edit: And what happens to the rest of the team that are busy training in Korea. I doubt EG-TL is going to operate like a Kespa team and just bench the weaker players 24/7.

LOL This is hilarious considering how much everyone was hyping EGL

Pretty much expected this. ProLeague is not some lame all-kill format "Team" League.

thanks god I didn't watch the games, JD :...(

omg, i missed it T.T;
but wtf... EG-TL got smoked? were the games close at all? and how good are the kespa guys, already smashing ESF and foreigners with years of experience.

They'd basically be stuck doing PL and GSL. Maybe they can field a GSTL team as well.
Chances are still that they're not going to get any wins, and also the foreign tournaments are more aligned with their sponsors.

And it's not like Stephano is really gonna make something happen...

Told myself I'd wake up for this, but holy fuck I was so tired

Agreed, I wish they would commit heavily and play their best players without qualms.
