A Proleague team wouldn't let their only two decent players play in some American tournament while the match was going on, would they? Pull the players from NASL and get them to grind inhouse games for their match. It's the same story as Liquid in GSTL all over again. All show, no commitment.
*in shock*
So you want Liquid to destroy NASL by pulling 1/4th their player list for the finals to disregard the sort of tournament that has made sc2 a game and these individual players notable stars.
I....how....what....huh...

You have no clue what kind of pressure I got reading the rank list, lol.

Proleague teams also have big Korean sponsors which allows them to do this... This comparison is just stupid. A team without big Korean sponsors entered Proleague, presumably to compete. Commitment is required to be competitive in Proleague. It's normal to compare them to the teams they're competing against. How they handle the business side of it is their own problem, not mine to consider or care about. But if they're planning to do this in between flying all over the world for individual events, streaming, and other things foreign teams generally do with their players, they're going to lose. Badly.
That is extremely shortsighted to say the least. Of course the business side needs to be considered. Or you get in situation like Quantic or even Team 8.

I don't want them to do anything, what their priorities are is their own choice.
I'm just saying a competitive Proleague team wouldn't have had two best players missing for the opening day of the season, and to Liquid it's happening for the second time in a row (including GSTL).

Ok ok, I get where you're coming from, but scheduling for NASL season 4 was faaaaaaaaarrrr before proleague was probably even a thing.
But of course opening day is where you make your showing so to be missing really their best 3 (stephano included) for opening day will only hurt them naturally. And a lot of international teams haven't shown a great track record for participation in team leagues. Which is frustrating.

Hopefully this makes EG-TL realize the importance of preparation. Sure they might have SC2 veterans, but this is Proleague, not some random foreign tournament.
Having said that 4-0 could have happened to anyone, let's not count them out just yet.

When the entire Proleague sent their best players as well, yeah.

Not sure how that is relevant. You could say this is SC2 Proleague as well. If anything, one match this season has less relevance because this season is so much longer.
Since PL was so close last season, you could argue 1 match could have affected the entire season.

But ALL teams sent their (perceived) best players to MLG that one time, so no team was crippled relative to another (except, well, KT )

Because all aces are equal, yeah. SKT T1 also sent 2 players while the other sent 1.

And one of them was Bisu, so yeah.
It was a one time arrangement that the whole league had to comply with, not really comparable to one team having 3 starters MIA.

EG-Liquid got trashed!!!!! Good job KT!!!

A little embarassing to say the least .... I was shocked when I saw Action a-move through Thorzain like he was playing a diamond leaguer :/. Zenio did ok but Flash was just the superior player I guess.
One thing though : When will major tournaments get rid of fucking Ohana ? This map sucks balls in general and immortal push is just fucking unstoppable on it. I don't understand why Kespa has picked this piece of shit of a map for PL to begin with.

And Bisu came second in that tournament.
Look, I am not trying to argue that Kespa teams don't focus on PL more, that is pretty obvious. But to say they have never sent players alway during the season for business reasons is just plain wrong.
