BO1 is always bad

induces players to play cheesy.
why?
cause it will get you that score on the board.

a bo3 you have to really decide upon that cheeky play cause it could cost you that point.
If you have a really good all-in you can abuse that in bo1's

First big tournament in awhile im not even close to being interested in.

Player list seems like its taken out of a weekly online cup. Looks like WCG can never regain the status it once had.

IPL and WCG on the same dates? Seriously, there needs to be some governing body to ensure major tournaments don't conflict. Not only for the viewership, but for the players who want to go to both events.

You can't just miraculously fix every scheduling conflict with some sort of almighty governing body, the end of the year is always incredibly busy and there are simply not enough weekends to have tournaments on without conflicting with others..

And to add, players as well as viewers are complaining about tournament fatigue.
Why should we then make it possible to play/view even more? We should be glad that SC2 is in such a good state that we have so many tournaments. It just means that a player can't play all, and a viewer - if not totally hardcore - possibly won't view all.

With tournaments having been planned months ahead, it's hard to believe it takes a miracle to see a conflict and move a tourney a few days forward or back. The governing body needn't be almighty at all, just a central website repository that looks at the schedule during planning stages and reports a conflict. There's simply a lack of communication and it's wasn't until recently that major tournaments have started working together - namely MLG, DH & ESL.

I'm pretty sure IPL knew full well that WCG was on this weekend and went ahead with it still

So Parting, MKP and Yonghwa are the Korean representatives? This might be the best opportunity ever for a foreigner to win WCG at Starcraft. WCG doesn't have the same prestige it used to but it'd still be nice to Korea's 11 year streak.
