Well, I am not saying that StarEagle is very well known, just more well than xluos for sure.
StarEagle finished top 16 at WCS Europe, while xluos finished top 16 at WCS Asia. However, I would think that most people from the US scene know the EU scene much better than the Chinese one, simply because there is so much more coverage and information about it in English. Even the TL writers didn't do a preview for WCS Asia because they had no clue who most of the Chinese guys were. They do know StarEagle for sure though.

I don't doubt that the competition level will be higher at IPL but I'm always more interested in tournaments with national qualifiers than purely professional events. And I have soft spot for WCG specifically. At least MKP and Parting are attending

Wow Yonghwa out is somewhat surprising, even though Macsed and Lowely are both good players.
Damn Group C looks quite well rounded. Definitely the most difficult group to predict.
|
Freaking pathetic Yonghwa .

Really expected Xluos and Yonghwa (as groupwinner) to get through, Parting was obvious and MacSed/Lowely was my second pick for Group A.. Very (happily) surprised about Fenix!
Paranoid and Killer/fraer + MKP and qxc/Jim to get through today!

i didnt know if something happened with the number of participants per country but... what about usa sending 3 or germany or others?

Don't blame Yonghwa, blame Artosis. He cursed him earlier this month.
