by the last engagement i had already lost, 30 lings, infestors w/o energy, and only zerglings, so that doesnt even matter
Stay strong, dude, you can never please everyone over the internet. You were in the hardest group by far and it is not like you just rolled over and gave up. You just got to keep practicing and give it everything you got.

Thank you players and casters!

ForGG and Ret can still make it, but it's a very long shot.

Different game, different times. But you sir, you're still a terminator!
I say we blame Rekrul.

Didn't follow everything, can you tell me what they have to go through to advance? Thanks for the heads up tho.

So many commentators are pushing the "Naniwa has a weak mentality" story because they don't like Naniwa. Naniwa's opinions on influential casters like Husky, Day9, and Incontrol have put him in a really difficult place.
At least nobody can say he self-destructed. Yeah I agree... naniwa never melts down or gets tilted he just has enemies in casters who make stuff up~ You're the only one said Naniwa never melts down. Naniwa did not tilt in a very trying position today. Also, many casters seriously dislike him, including you, because of what he has said about them. Pretending that they don't, and pretending that that doesn't leak into their commentary and coverage of him is ludicrous.
I think you're being a bit unfair to Geoff here. He did compliment Naniwa for making his come-back and even tried to raise some applause for it (for a moment I was thinking EG was gonna him up, reminiscent of how Idra showed HuK some public respect). Nani didn't tilt today, but, as a fan even, I have to say that there is good grounds on remarking on Nani's past tournaments.
Today was an example of how well he has progressed on that front.

What's up with the 6th player in each group having to play everyone next day?

Well, as with WCS, we can blame Polt. This time he declined rather than in WCS where he lost that crucial match against Miya.

It's rough for the guys coming from the open bracket but I guess its the only way to have an open and a actual tournament the same weekend.

I was afraid Naniwa would be unable to focus after that game vs thorzain but its clear to me he has more control over his emotions than before, despite the odd heat of the moment comments he tends to make. It will be stessfull to watch stephano vs snute and naniwa vs nightend tomorrow but thats what tournaments are all about.

What is the policy if players end equal on won matches?
If the number of won maps count, then I cannot see monchi not advancing.
|
Any games worth watching?

It's somewhat fair because the people they're playing against earned points in the previous dreamhacks to be there.

Good job Adebisi!
And good job MaNa, you can do it!

Snute winning this tourney, calling it now.
