TaeJa vs. STC series was very good as well.

You mean the games where Thorzain just sat in his base the whole time? Games are about 40 minutes and are borderline good/frustrating.

will the open bracket qualifiers have to play 6 games in a row tomorrow? thats pretty brutal :o

also congrats to monchi, looked very strong today

and i really hope thorzains tvp style doesnt catch on. we dont need even more passivity

id be all for it if he actually used his ghosts more, for nukes or aggressive emping/sniping

Are there some funky ass rules I'm not aware of? Because Nerchio's record is better than TLO's and he should be in second, not third.

I'm guessing it goes by how many wins you have. Map wins that is.

That makes no sense... So someone who went 3-1 (6-2) would be lower than TLO's 3-1 (7-5)? In no world is that correct.

Even if Naniwa doesn't pass this group stage, he's got be very pleased with himself. So many commentators are pushing the "Naniwa has a weak mentality" story because they don't like Naniwa. Naniwa's opinions on influential casters like Husky, Day9, and Incontrol have put him in a really difficult place.

At least nobody can say he self-destructed.

what are u talking about? i remember the naniwa-husky incident but from all interviews ive seen and me having been his twitter follower for a long time, i cant recall him ever even talking about incontrol or day9, and for the record day9 is a fan of naniwa.

Go TaeJa, terran hope!

Sadly out of the 4 terrans of the tournament, I see TZain and ForGG loosing to NightEnd tomorrow, and TheStC is probably also not going to make it..

What is up with tournaments being 90% ZvPs lately? It is admittedly the most boring match to watch at the moment..

it does make sense in a way... rewards you for winning a set against a better opponent more than dropping sets vs opponents you beat anyways

but yeah its kinda funky

If STC 2-0s Snute he's garaunteed to make it. I can easily see him doing that.

And thorzain is really good at preparing. He has all day to prepare for Nightend. I think he can handle that.

Stephano needs to 2-0 Snute and either fraer or STC need to lose for him to advance, I think. If he goes 2-1, fraer or STC have to lose 0-2. If he loses, he's out no matter what.

Of course, if Snute goes on a 3-kill streak, that would complicate things again and two of the other players might not make it depending on map score.

Forgive me if I made mistakes, I wrote that from the top of my head, I don't have the bracket in front of me.
