Bisu failed badly, but i can easily imagine half of actual code s sharing his fate to all kinds of 11\11 and 6 pool. The format is changed so you can fall off from Code S to Code B in a single season if you don't belong (see Jaedong). There isn't that much of inertion left anymore (I'd actually say it's spot on, because you want to have some kind of security net guarding against a single bad day). Kespa players are already receiving a lot of welfare A+S spots and have their better players qualify. Of course you can have bad luck in your brackets, but to be honest most of the time if you can't make it through qualifiers you just don't belong. The 50/50 and 70/30 numbers might be what you wished for, but are not reflective of actual skill numbers, sorry.

I wanted to just talk about my 2 matches against Crazy Hydra. Mind you I met him after and he was super nice and came and spoke to our group of foreigners.
Game 1 I went for the standard Immotal Sentry all-in, It was close but Hydra played super greedy and went pool-hatch-hatch-hatch. Yeah and I didn't scout the 4th until super late, at that point though it was too late, and he had infestors. Although I did kill a lot and had good forcefields. It just wasn't enough.
Game 2 was really close actually. He went for the same build and I went for the Naniwa style 1 gate expo (never used it before today). And I was able to hold off a lot fo aggression from him, I had good forcefields, and caught like 2-3 infestors. I went for Colo and the standard deathball army. He eventually got tired and went all-in with like 6-7 corrupters and a ton of ling/infestor. He fungled my stalkers and I wasn't able to move to defend my colo (he hid his corrupters) so he took 2 out, I did hold barely, but his 2nd wave was just a little too strong for me.
all in all they were good games. Crazy-Hydra is really good and he has some beastly macro. I'm not ashamed that I lost, and people shouldn't bash me based on my results in thie qualifer.
I've proved time and time again that I'm good enough to be here in Korea, but Code A qualifers are tough, and anyone that says different is lying to themselves. I was nervous and had tears in my eyes when I lost. I shouldn't have to prove myself to anyone, let alone reddit. I've practiced 10 hours a day since I came to Korea and worked my ass off to prove to the community that I am good, but no matter how well I do, people will always seek to break you down. They will take things out of context or out of time frame. People assume that I wanted to be famous here in Korea. Thats not what I wanted. I just wanted people to cheer for me. I see so many people each time in these threads say "who is radrel?" and it does bother me a little bit. I mean it would bother a lot of people. I wanted people to see my name and not ask "who is he?". Its not unfair to me. And I never said it was unfair. I see so many foreigners who come to Korea and try their best, but the community overlooks them. I've seen it a number of times. Plato was another good example of this, he had no press on coming to Korea, and lost in his first qualifers and then quit sc2 that evening. And he had results, he was the 2nd best player in Israel. Although it does happen. It is heartbreaking to see it happen so often. and Koreans are no different, people were bashing my friend Salmosa because he almost got into code A. Do people really not like him so much that he warrents people hating on him. Its not just about cheering for your favorites, but bashing people for no reason it awful.
Before I came to Korea I lived in Rural Canada, Where my internet speed was 2MB down and 512kbps up. It was coming off a radio tower. ( this plan to be exact http://www.bell.ca/Bell_Internet/Products/Rural_2_Mbps ) I still played as much as I could to prove to others I could do it. I got GM on NA in fall of 2011. I applied to prime and got in. Do people really think I would have applied to prime house if I wasn't good enough to be there? Do people really think I'm that dumb?
Anyways I'm finished playing full-time, I do plan on staying in Korea, I have a meeting tomorrow in revelence to that. I will be at Code A qualifers doing LR'ing when I can as well.
thanks everyone and have a wonderful morning/evening/afternoon.

Nice read, I was pretty sad when I saw your draw! It was really nice to meet you in June, I hope your next plans will be as exciting as you hope!
Good luck Radrel

there r a decent amount of kespa player advanced simply because of their large number of kespa players. The majority of kespa is similar/worse than gsl code b level

Any kind of reports on tomorrow's qualifiers would be greatly appreciated <3 You said you planned to stay in Korea, will you continue to be involved in SC2? Gl either way

I don't really know what this whole thing is about, but all I know is that I've seen a post from you in July of 2011 saying you're gold league. I guess it's possible, but if after 6 months playing you got to Gold, you have to have improved faster than anyone else in the world to make GM in another 2-3 months.
