I also heard that Brown has moved to T1 as well.

Despite the fact that SKT1 is one of the most well funded teams in kespa and Boxer's influence on the

team, I think T1 cant just take everyone from Slayers....

i guess it turns out that the point of making a SC2 team was so it could be fused with SKT T1 when it transferred.

So if Dark is in T1 now does that make it KeSPA 5 - 5 ESF?

Hah, technically I guess so. But since he just transferred over, in my mind, I would still count him as eSF for this qualifier.

SlayerS was never under the ESF umbrella. I wouldn't count Darks victory in either of the two categories because 1. He was drafted after his accomplishment and 2. He never represented ESF unless he was on one of their team prior to joining SlayerS.

He was in the "before BW-exodus" era, so he's not really counted as KeSPA yet. SlayerS wasn't in eSF, but the team was from the same period of playing... so yeah.

So excited to see jjakji and fantasy qualify today! I was pretty sad when jjakji got eliminated from code A, and I'm hoping for his triumphant return!

Also, day 1 was not a good day for foreigners trying to qualify

I'd say it makes it eSF 4 - 4 KeSPA with Dark and Miya not being counted... Didn't think of ex-SlayerS not being considered eSF last night... KeSPA 4 - 6 non-KeSPA maybe?

It seems from the picture of his interview he's either teamless or on like the B-team of the B-team of StarTale right now... He didn't even play the qualifier with a ST shirt/jersey on...

Speaking of interviews... Translators pls... Not very many of us are talented enough to know English and Korean...

Anyone got time to translate 10 interviews? Specifically Dark/Miya/Brain/San so we can know for sure about Dark/SKT and the other three team status' ATM... ~_~

Usually, eSF = non KESPA when we write eSF vs Kespa. Yes, technically they are different but everyone gets it. Like when Slayers players lost to Kespa players in the WCS Korea, we still counted it as Kespa vs eSF. Same with MC, Liquid, Fnatic, etc.

If most of them really went to SKT... I don't know how I feel about that. Mixed feelings.

Though I do know they will almost certainly win the next proleague.

So SKT is absorbing former SlayerS players? I haven't heard any news about this... was there an interview or report on it?

Seems like a lot of people who felt that SlayerS would eventually, in some way, become part of SKT were right ... but SlayerS had to die for them to be right T_T

Happy jjakji, Dark, JangBi and ManZenith qualified :D

The point of saying kespa vs esf is "players who were playing SC1 until very recently, i.e. elephants" vs "players who arrived early on in SC2". The meaning is found in comparing how fast the first group are catching up.

Even if Miya/Dark join T1, they're still 'esf' players by the above. I'm also tempted to put ForGG/Hyun/First on the Kespa side given how late they switched.

So esf 6-4 kespa. Which is STILL impressive by kespa.

I sent a PM to Seeker asking about the interviews, hopefully he has time to at least do the ex-Slayers ones.
