The idea is to defend your base and counter attack paths with them when you are meching offensively, and to have a few by your tanks to blow up zealots and lings that charge in.

Widow Mines are really good, Flash could and should have used them more, he just went into super tryhard mode and played it like WoL trying to win.
HellFirebats are really good to have in your bio army too, the cone splash damage melts zealots.

I feel like Flash started trying really hard and Parting was trying to play it like a showmatch, but then his ego took over and he thought there's no way I'm going to lose so easily in a showmatch just to show off new units so he went tryhard mode back.

actually mechanical armor might be better for TvP, your medivacs can heal the firebats and they have something like 140 hp? good tanking units.
