Get lost :d So you disagree with the statement that PvZ is completely fucked up atm? Yup. It's a great case of a self fulfilling prophecy, people just won't shut the fuck up about this supposed "state of pvz" so they can't enjoy games that aren't even anything like what they say they complain about. They've conditioned themselves through shit tons of whining to hate pvz, so they hate pvz, regardless of what the games are actually like

I can't believe they don't show HerO vs. Polt

I sort of hoped we'd gotten over it, but I can't help but feel vindicated that the Kespa players are doing pretty well but aren't crushing the scene. Elephant thing is pretty disproved at this point, best BW players didn't become the best sc2 players and they aren't dominating in the slightest. They are good players of course, but not many times better than the ESF players or better at all. Thank Adun there's someone else out there who actually read the article. Intrigue is lucky the term has changed so much from the original meaning. Now it's just a harmless term, a way to describe Kespa players, but the original elephant argument has been disproven, and in retrospect it looks like ramblings of a Brood War elitist. If you don't think Leenock, Taeja, MVP, etc. would have become the best BW players had SC2 not come out I don't know what to tell ya buddy. The article was written in 2011 and by 2012 Flash, Jaedong, Bisu, etc. were no longer the best RTS players in the world. Go reread the article. *shrugs* What you are saying has nothing to do with Intrigue's argument. Of course what you are saying is still wrong, there are no guarantees that someone will get the final spark that lifts their play above everyone else while playing another game, similar as it may be. But anyway, that's not what that article was about, so no clue what you are trying to say.
The article is wrong but not for the reasons people think it is. It has nothing to do with SC2 vs BW and everything to do with player turnover approximately every 5 years.
Think of it this way, if SC2 came out in 2007, everyone would have thought Savior, Nada, Reach, iloveoov, would have dominated. But it would have been really fucking stupid to blame their lack of domination on SC2 being a different game rather than player turnover.

WOW we aren't getting Ret vs Naniwa streamed or anything?? That is some serious bs.

I wonder if the production crew's tea party is over yet.

MLG has to show a super serious featurette showcasing Steelseries and MLG patting themselves on the back.
Meanwhile, in the venue... Games are being played. Great live event to go to, kindof iffy on the streaming experience.

Violet vs Life on Blue stream next

If this LR thread did not exist I would have closed MLG a long time ago.
Teamliquid deserves a cut!

Well played from Leenock though. Don't want to take anything away but the mu's retarded and I feel sorry for any professional protoss players that they have to play the mu. You could also feel sorry for the professional zergs who get two base all-ined into oblivion... Seriously, Protoss have won 5 of the last 6 important korean tournaments, three of those having at least 2 protoss the top 3: -WCS korea, -WCS Asia, -WCG Korea, -OSL -GSL season 3 And they still bitch about a korean Protoss losing... Yea I know that Rain, Parting, Squirtle and Seed has been doing really well in Korea. Let's ignore every tournament in the rest of the world the last 6 months where 3-4 Z is pretty much every semi-final . But yea I don't wanna discuss results. Just venting because the MU is frustrating to watch, never said it's necessarily imbalanced. I just feel that protoss needs to play so incredibly tight it's ridiculous while zerg can pretty much do whatever they wantonce infestors are out. Either that or hope the zerg doesn't respond properly to a 2-base all-in. I also gave all credit to Leenock. G1 showed some sick play from him.

The actual best player in history of SC2 dominates a lesser player and suddenly people balance whine, makes no sense. Rain got outplayed in about every conceivable way in that last game. The thing at the natural and 3rd was like Leenock slapped him in the face with IT's and followed it up with the biggest haymaker ever. His followthrough was pristine. The true champion.
